I use IG Markets for my ISA's also trucky and AJ Bell for my SIPP.
Great thing about IG Trading is you get access to a lot of markets (like ASX) that are only available to phone deal in excess of £10K at AJ Bell.

Well the first point I can straight away see is the high grade zone that Numis defined at the top of the sulphide zone was

The upper section is currently 550m strike x 230m height x 20m width with Au >5g/t and Cu >0.75%
That gives us 2,530,000 m3 x 2.8 SG = 7,084,000 tons and at <5 g/t gives 35,420,000 grams which is 1.139moz Au

In his table he only attributes 266,000 oz to the <5 g/t zone.

I'm not an expert but IMO there will be a worthwhile deposit there especially if it's under shallow cover

BH is sitting in the same structural corridor as Havieron & Scallywag. When we did the drilling there I think I'm right in saying they used the rock chips & geochemical (MMI) surveying to find the locations to drill.

I may be wrong but I don't remember them carrying out any AEM survey until they did the one on the Scallywag area that is highlighted in the report below.

The high grade that they found IMO proves there is mineralisation present - hopefully the AEM surveys have pinpointed the location of it a little better for the next campaign.

Whilst they didn't find big intersections of high grade gold as per Havieron GH did say the following.

“These exciting drill results at Black Hills confirm the presence of a near-surface gold system at the Saddle Reefs prospect which includes high grade gold mineralisation. In addition, our systematic exploration approach continues to generate
new targets across the region, including three within the Black Hills area which have not been tested by historic drilling."

One of these prospects "Parlay" was namechecked by Callum during his recent presentation so I'd say there's a high likelihood that we will be returning to Black Hills sooner rather than later.

It was a cloudy day though and even though you can see parts of the site the NW area is mostly obscured. I can't see too many differences from the 9th on there.

We shouldn't have too much longer to wait for the Newcrest mining concept studies either. These will give us a good insight into what Newcrest's plans are going to be going forward. Have a look at the three different types of mining feasibility studies - Newcrest are carrying on the first type at the moment (concept / scoping study). This should give us a good idea of their plans and may be done on an inferred mineral resource.

This will then be followed by the pre-feasibility & feasibility studies in due course.

It all depends when the actually put it out - if it's coming at the end of July then it will only be on drilling up to roughly now - however were they to delay it for a quarter then we could conceivably be looking at a substantially larger MRE.

I know they are cracking on with the growth phase at the moment but I can still see activity in the centre of the ore-body so they are still in-filling at present also.

It really depends on what NCM want to do - if I were Sandeep, I would delay it and now that UBS, etc are interested - I'd be getting the biggest MRE of the high grade ore out as I possibly could.

That would really put a rocket under the NCM share price - remember M&A activity is slated to increase dramatically in the gold bull run and NCM need to get their SP as high as they possibly can to protect themselves.

There's lots of chess-pieces on the board that we don't even know about.

Hi schlemiel - that's been the suspicion for a while, that we have a feature like the dome at Telfer but buried beneath 400m rather than outcropping like Telfer did.

It would be rather nice if the arms continued on for anther couple of hundred metres before completed the circle - so to speak.

I wouldn't feel too sorry for him Flashy - Pacific Trend Resources are getting 145M GGP shares issued to them on a decision to mine as part of the sale deal and that's looking more & more like a certainty with every passing day.

I guess it's risk carried with the project ever actually going ahead. They do say that they have adjusted their risk factor from 0.4 to 0.5 - so even though the HGZ ounces have gone down the likelihood of the project goign ahead had increased and therefore the SP is upgraded accordingly

"We update our risked multiple to 0.5x from 0.4x reflecting infill and step out success, the strength of NCM support, and the ILUA agreement agreed."

Presumably that mean that when we get the mining license, etc sorted the risk factor will be further reduced and the target price will soar.

The original Tweet from Primorus sates 'NIce upgrade to 15p.....28.7p on an unrisked basis.

I'm assuming they have calculated that Havieron is worth 28.7p and then put some form of risk weighting on the calculation to arrive at their recommendation to their clients.

remember we also had an intersection from HAD023 a long time ago that had mineralisation even further to the NW than HAD066. Here I've plotted both sets of drill results - HAD066 is circled in orange and HAD023 is circled in blue.

T&T - it looks like they have used the more accurate figures on the crescent shape of the sulphide zone that NCM provided in this report.
It's worth bearing in mind that that figure ONLY allows for that crescent shape and none of the breccia and none of the step-outs.

@Spratt - the access track over the dune appeared on the satellite on the 31st March. I'd say we were seeing activity then for the next 3/4 weeks - pretty much all through April and then it went quiet down there.
I have noticed a couple of new bits of activity down there again on the last couple of updates though.
