@Alex - the access track that goes through Scallywag is the main route from Havieron back to Telfer so that is likely why you can see more activity there on recent images.
I'm on the phone at the minute but I will post some images later when I get to my PC.

Anyone listen to the Weekly Wrap-Up with Eric Sprott yesterday. I know he's the ultimate gold bug but he's convinced that gold is heading to $2,700 before the end of this year - now what would that do for our MRE?
Suddenly all those marginal ounces in the breccia zone will become economic to mine and process - Newcrest will also have a massive amount of free cash flow (as will the other majors). All those majors will be looking for somewhere to spend their newly found kitty's

I have had a quick look at planet this morning and it looks like they are ploughing ahead rapidly - there appears to be a rig resident on that new westerly step-out that we spotted in the Sentinel update last week.

Seems to be the case Spy - if you click on the "GGP Share Price" icon in the top of the page and then scroll down it says the market size is now 200,000.

@dave - I'm not offended mate, I'm just bemused as to why you would think that. There is nothing out there that I would rather put my money in at the moment so it's staying put for the time being.

Newcrest are not that sort of company - GH has been singing their praises from the rooftops at every opportunity that he gets - they will play hard but fair when it comes to negotiating and IMO they will be prepared to pay for every ounce at the 'fair market value' if they do buy us out.

I think ultimately that is where Havieron is headed - it probably won't happen for a number of years as IMO they will hunt the high grade first using the selective mining (stoping) method they spoke about.

The mining concept studies will be very interesting to read and I expect them to be with us sooner rather than later because I would imagine the PFS studies will be based on whatever conclusions they come to in the concept studies.

All very exciting - although you wouldn't believe it to look at the action.

I don't think they would start without the permissions in place but with the agreements already in place with the Martu then I guess it's just a case of fulfilling the environmental, etc requirements with the WA government.

I guess there are the usual hoops they have to jump through but they will do whatever is necessary - remember the WA government will want this to go ahead as much as us and NCM do it will all happen in it's own sweet time.

There could be an increase in the rigs on site in guess but I reckon it means the decline crews coming to site are imminent.

I'm assuming they will be working around the clock on that also - so 3 shifts continually burrowing underground, it's easy to see how quickly it would add up.

Just imagine the logistics of catering for that amount of people out in the middle of nowhere - there's not doing it on a whim.

Have a look in the comments section - there was a question asked about the gold find out there and the author replied with.

Nothing but positive feedback out there at the moment. Worthing on this project over the last 12 months it had gone from a 20 man camp and soon will be 250 so I'd say it's looking pretty good"

Just found this update on LinkedIn from a firm who have been contracted to do so electrical upgrades to the Field Camp.

Looks like they are running in a cable tray to carry a fairly substantial cable to an "as yet unbuilt" building. They did talk in their last update about a future core-shed so I wonder if the building of that is imminent??

We'll be drilling them with the 5/30% that we get into the coffers from the Havieron deal.

We'll either have the full 30% from a sell out of Havieron or we'll have the 5% until production starts and then the our share of the toll treated ore.

Either way it will be more than sufficient to enable us to carry on drilling for a long time should we choose to do so.

We only burn that much cash when we are running exploration programs which we aren't doing at the moment and also I think we've had warrants converted this year for up to £2M or thereabouts so far with another £1.3M of warrants outstanding.

As Spy said hopefully there will be a divestment of one or both of the Tasmanian projects to replenish the coffers even more.

GH has started that he doesn't want to have any more dilution so hopefully we won't be capital raising again.

I'm sure it hasn't slipped the attention of everyone that it's only 4 weeks today to the 23rd July.

I'm guessing that pretty much all the holes that will be reported then, will already be at the labs and some may even be back already.

Take comfort from the fact that NCM are still going at this hell for leather and as we can see are still expanding the footprint almost daily.
