livestock, rates have hardly gone up at all yet, 1.0% is still extremely low. I was interested to see Mervyn King's comment on the need for a much steeper increase than 2% for base rate.

To be fair I am also acting pretty childish and seem to have raked over the coals, not intended. Buyback updates are a simple pleasure to me, like an advent calendar. Open the doors and see how many less shares there are every day.

I like it because it's a running total and he/they takes the time to bother to post it. It's approximate and I don't need accuracy to every decimal point. It may not take account of charges or new share issues or a few other things I don't know about but I know we are still less than halfway through spend and accumulating more than anticipated.
It's an endorsement of a post not a poster. Not crazy. I find it heartening to see shares bought back each day. It is unusual to see 20 likes.

I know it does Pippa. You also wax lyrical on the benefits of burning fossil fuels. These are no longer widely held beliefs among people who acknowledge the evidence of impending catastrophic environmental failure from climate change, natural habitat loss and resource depletion.
It was a nasty thing that happened to you. But you might also want to reevaluate your sense of perspective on life as part of your recovery.
