Not many would choose to turn an inflation proof income for life into a cash wad. But if you feel you have profited, then well done.
What doesn't make sense is why you would you want to burn the bridge for others?

yes by the very people who criticised him changing the ministerial code for his own selfish purposes. If he goes it will just be a change of leader, the same values will remain in power.

Tories will eat each other up eventually, I don't really care that much. The instability of any change of UK Prime Minister will be unwelcome and I can imagine which way that will send bank shares.

It is a question that would presumably arise, if I am right in believing Scotland is pro-independence and pro-EU? Im not sure they could go straight into EU until sterling was replaced with a new currency and taxation system. It's not an argument against independence, but a question about what would enable it.
