I don’t see why they would buy on the open market.

They have substantial options at 0.2p going forward with zero risk. They alluded to these in one of the interviews recently as their “Incentive” to make this work.

They are both financially independent, don’t need a salary (which after a certain wealth just comes with tax issues).

They both own and run a hedge fund, which is where they’d likely invest before ASTR.

I don’t see any of this in any way negative, just a logical financial decision.

Neither of them struck me as the sort of guys who would buy simply to improve sentiment. I think they’re more interested in building real long term value on a solid foundation.

If that takes a few weeks or months then so be it.

It would do no harm at all if they bought, but I’m not expecting it.

I’m looking at your response again, and I’m wondering if we’re even having the same conversation.

Let’s leave it there, what matters is how well the business performs going forward.

In what way does this have any relevance to the income and market valuation of the company and therefore its SP going forward?

The market looks at the accounts. How much is being generated and the share then finds its own price accordingly on the open market.

Why does who owns what or have voting rights have any bearing on finances historically or going forward?

Last years numbers are irrelevant in any business, the moment the next years numbers are published, for anything other than comparison purposes, to compare if performance is improving or not.

Even more so in a business that has made a fundamental pivot in operations.

Everything up to this point no longer matters. What matters is the revenue going forward with the new team and business plan.

On that point our perspectives and opinions will differ.

Grown adults can have differing opinions and respect that without the need to decend to abuse and profanity. It's a sign of fundamental intelligence.

IMO everything that occurred before Leo, Siam and Mark, no longer matters in the eyes of the market when it comes to the valuation or investability of Astrid.

You may feel that statement is fundamentally wrong, and that's just fine. Do you have the mental capacity to understand people can have differing opinions and that's actually a healthy thing?

From my understanding of the deals they are (and have) putting together. There’s something about the open source nature of Bittensor that makes them (the deals) vulnerable until they are locked up and contracts in place.

So the normal news flow of a regular business, stating they are in talks with “X” company and an outline of the proposal, could actually compromise the entire deal.

That leaves Plc investors in the dark a bit and only finding out in hindsight.

They are probably waiting until enough of these deals are over the line to release a meaningful package of news rather than dribs and drabs. As dribs and brabs will create more questions than they answer.

Last years account aren’t likely to be particularly attractive. But this company isn’t what it was last year (IMO). But like GEN10 I’m also an amateur, so what do I know when there are clearly CEO’s of great stature walking among us.

It’s the numbers since Leo was brought on board and the subsequent turnaround by Siam and Mark. Everything prior to that is now effectively irrelevant to the market (a risky statement on here I know!)

An RNS would help things along, of course, but I’m a little worried that notready1 may have blocked the directors for not being on message.

To be clear, I had a little invested here just before Mark and Siam were appointed.

But as there involvment evolved, it become clear to me this has the potential to be a game changer. But the timescale is unknown. So on Monday I upped my investment substantially.

Astrid may be the name of the company, but it is nothing more than a vehicle that Mark and Siam are driving. It is their vision and knowledge that I've invested in. Not anything that went before.

Not your mate, simply another shareholder here who has done enough research to buy in for a decent sum.

But I like to step back and take a balanced view of what going on and thoroughly listen to as much information as the directors are able to impart given the closed period we're currently in. In their view Astrid was, and I quote "A rudderless ship, an empty shell company looking for a purpose".

So any comparison to what happened 12 months ago, before they were on board, is wholly irrelevent. In my opion.

Different directors, different company. Comparisons to last year are wholly irrelevant.

This is new, in almost every respect. As Siam has said in interviews, until they got involved, Astrid was a rudderless shell company looking for a purpose. So what has gone before matters very little.

Their incentive and "sking" is in the options alongside their own hedge fund (100% invested in Bittensor).

Of course it's always nice to see director buys, but don't be dissapointed if they don't. Personally I wouldn't read anything in to it in this case.

The proof will be in the pudding. The SP will increase proportionally, or it won't.

I'm in, I'm a believer for a reasonable chunk. But I'm also a realist.

We'll know in a few months how this plays out.

Honestly I think Gen10 highlights what's most likely the biggest obstacle ASTR faces in attracting investors. At least short term.

So there may be a lag, a disconnect between what's being generated in capital value and investments, and the SP of ASTR.

The easiest and most simple way to measure if something is good (in stockmarket terms) is seeing a great big pile of FIAT currency making its way into the bank account of the company in question.

The thing is, that might be a year or two away at the earliest. As I understand it right now, any profits or generated revenue, at least initially, is going to be kept in the ecosystem of Bittensor in search of the huge yeilds Siam has suggested.

It's going to be interesting how this plays out. But I see it as a slow burn that eventually erupts when it becomes apparent, if and when a shed load of revenue is being made.

Good interviewer, asked some sensible questions. The sort of thing potential new investors need answers to.

Would it not have been better to announce the resignation and replacement in the same RNS? If the replacement is known and lined up already?

I can't see this being very pretty for the SP on open. Maybe that's the plan though? So those in the the know can buy in a bit cheaper before the replacement is announced?

The older I get the more cynical I become.

I have a feeling that it is material for the prospectus that will be required for SWC to enter the main market.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable could chip in here. I think it's in their interest (heavily) to demonstrate they are a trading, operational business and not an "investment" company. The web design is a fig leaf, but it's necessary, from what I understand.

Can anyone add to this in more detail?
