It is good to see. The fact is though, we need to see that amount every week, not after a period of months.

Until that happens, the SP will remain where it is, fluctuating slightly but with no significant gains.

If you have the patience or are locked in (as I am) then it this has very good long term prospects.

A general election now would be as catastrophic as any other option. There really isn't an electable opposition to a government that has become fragmented and virtually non functioning.

It's been a cock up from the moment the vote was completed. The default position two years ago should have been we leave with no deal and everyone is invited to negotiated trade and movement deals with us immediately.

Instead the two years has been consumed by legal posturing, bickering and a shocking lack of any solid leadership at all.

We're in a real mess. But I still think nothing will happen, the sky won't fall in. I have a feeling this is the millennium bug all over again. Everyone has too much invested to let it all go pop.

I make it circa £10,000 per tanker, give or take. After haulage costs.

So circa £1.5M during the EWT. Certainly helps cashflow.

I've often seen the comments re DL posted on this BB about him never having had anything to do with any successful company. I get the feeling much of it is just regurgitated by people that really have no idea if he has or hasn't had any real success.

How many successful prosecutions have taken place as a result of his investigations or based on his evidence?

3% is in the region of £3 million pounds. If I had that kind of cash to throw at shares I wouldn't be dicking around in AIM. I'd be buy stuff that paid dividends and sitting on a beach somewhere.

At those numbers it makes £2.1m look like a good deal for the the DOR stake.

That's what exactly? 3 Million barrels of which a certain percentage can be recovered or 3m or recoverable oil.

Some back of a fag packets maths based on todays transaction gives me the following numbers:-

6% of HHDL @ £2.1m values HHDL @ Crica £35M

HHDL owns 65% of HH (Magellan owning the other 35%)

So we arrive at a notional value of HH today @ crica £54M.

Can someone do some reverse calculations and figure out how many Barrels of Oil per day are required to justify an entire site value for HH of £54M please?

I actually think this is a thankless task and the reality is I don't think it will matter who is PM, they'd be on a hiding to nothing. As long as it's not Corbyn that is. That would be a real shambles.

There's no such thing as a soft BREXIT or an easy BREXIT, this has never happened before, it's new ground we're treading and whatever is agreed is going to upset someone in a big way.

Uncertainty and indecision is creating all the problems. There won't be a problem once we've left, we've been living the results of the referendum and the problem it's caused for two years already even if you look at nothing other than the weakness of our currency. Leaving is the solution to the problem that was the referendum.

With that in mind, we should simply be stating that we're leaving and defaulting to WTO rules then get on and leave. We then invite "Europe" to renegotiate the WTO solution as it would be in their interest to do so and do so very quickly.

Right now we appear to going to them cap in hand and asking very nicely if we can leave sir. Remind me of Oliver Twist to be honest.

I own a company that imports 90% of it's products from outside the EU, it's worked for us from day one, there's no reason it can't work that way with the EU. I'd just like it sorted so we get back to some sort of normality with the rest (majority) of the planet. THe fact the world deals in USD means this has been costing UK PLC for two years already.

Just get it done people.

Mogg might well be the right person, he has the mental capacity I'm just not sure he's cut out for the top job in terms of being a figure head. He strikes me as a very intelligent lieutenant rather than a General.
