It's the tiny trades that have me scratching my head. 2, 5, 8 shares.

100 x 1000 trades I understand, but whats with the tiny trades? This is just some computer trading automatically and trying to throw off another computer from tracking the trades?

Ok, that makes sense. I assume they're able to do this as there's no transaction fee? Or it's so small it's irrelevant?

This is being done so it deost create large movements in the SP?

Can someone explain to me (in laymans terms please) the idea/principal behind the multiple small automated trades occuring on this share?

The reality is it looks like this share is in better shape than it was pre BB. But memories of what occured at BB are still fresh in enough peoples minds that it's not getting the volume and excitement that occured back then.

Add that to the current finance arrangements and the SP is going to remain supressed. The key is oil. Oil rolling out the gate in volume equals increased volume which in turn clears the financial arrangements faster which in turn leads to a higher SP.

It's that simple. Really it's not complicated assuming the drilling and production unfolds as hoped.

As positive as this all looks, and it does look positive. Lets just wait until there is 2000bopd actually leaving site before counting our chickens.

The SP is where it is because the market needs facts not projection.

Not long to go now, fingers crossed it all goes smoothly and to plan.

There might be a bit of a flurry as and when the rig arrives for those that get excited about that sort of thing, but the reality is it's going to need a major event to make the share price increase substantially.

Major event = oh my god we're swimming in oil from the new well it's coming out so fast or a TR1 from someone or something reputable.

Hostory has taught us not to get to excited before we have something concrete. Broadford Bridge etc.

My opinion we'll be where we are now, maybe 1.3 - it really depends how quickly the overhang clears. Increased volume is going to help.

The SP is simply a consequence of the number of shares in issue. Nothin more, nothing less. No conspiracy, no manipulation just sheer volume of shares.

The only reason I see for consolidation was if the company reached a size and stability that was able to enter the FTSE.

Less shares and a higher price per share gives a perceived higher degree of credibility.

That should have read "I expect to see little change in the SP until all the extra shares are cleared".

My fag packet calculations make it around 75m of the 275m sold - around 200m to go.

Volume is the key, the more volume there is the quicker it clears. Dull days like today not much will happen. When the rig arrives it generates a bit of excitement. Excitement = increased volume.

It seems 1:20 exactly is the target price at which the extra shares are being disposed of - that ties in with the big trades over the last few days and many of the "unknowns".

The fact that huge numbers of shares are being sold by YA (because there are plenty of people willing to buy at this price) is a good thing. It will clear quicker.

You only need to look at the two huge trades over the previous two days to know how many have been sold already, it's not rocket science people. When the YA shares are clear then the share price is free to find it's own natural level, not one being depressed by a huge overhang of shares entering the market.

If the share price can remain relatively stable with these huge volumes of sells going through it's a pretty good sign.

Not everyone here is a ramper or deramper. There are also disappointed realists who realise with hindsight we should never have got sucked into this.

Yes I'm a holder, yes I'm underwater but my average is only 2.17 so I'm in not in as bad shape as some.

If any of you think what's written on this board, or any BB for that matter has any real material effect on this companies share price you are even more deluded than I thought.

So if that does happen, it will go to be serviced and prepared to be delivered to HH. That would take what? Two to three weeks?

So Early to mid September would be realistic for arrival at HH, which if you think about it makes sense given the planning meeting dates.

The moment I read "late summer" in the RNS I automatically assumed that would be September at some point rather than anything sooner.

A lot of people feeling the same way. It's frustrating.

I was interested if there had been published increase in limit. I would have thought that would be market sensitive information, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. So maybe it's just not important to tell shareholders this information?

I was/am curious to know if UKOG have reached anywhere close to the limit and may have to stop production. That wouldn't be good.

For what seems like quite an important limit, there seems to be little to no information available.

Yes that's all quite clear and the numbers add up. I'm not questioning what's been pumped so far that's now quite clear.

What I'd like to know is if there's an increase in the limit in the OGA allowance? As clearly any I can find have been exceeded considerably.

If there is a new higher limit, what is it and are we anywhere near it?

If the limits are fluid and /or simply ignored, what's the point of having them?

So any idea what the current/latest production limit is?

lovely, that all adds up then. I was just trying to figure out how close we were to any pre determined limit that might cap production/testing.

If there is an increased OGA figure it would be good to know what that is.
