Hardcore Bitcoiners are aghast that a treasury Co would even consider looking at anything other than BTC today, tomorrow or at any point in the future, ever. No matter what happens, even if things they don't even know are going to happen, happen.

At that point, toys got thrown out of the prams, dummies spat. We find ourselves where we are this afternoon.

I invested here exactly because it's not SWC or another minimic of MSTR. It appears many BTC'ers didn't see this the same I did. Or simply didn't quite grasp what they were buying into.

I added late today. Time will tell if it was a genius or daft. I figured it'll do better here than in Legal and General.

I just listened again to the Zak Mir interview.

I don’t understand the issue here at all. I heard nothing controversial or that differed from what I understand the company is trying to achieve or indeed how they’ve presented what we currently understand about what they are aiming to achieve.

So all I can assume is the upset people, of which there are a few, are hardcore Bitcoiners who maybe haven’t fully grasped what they were investing in initially. Or maybe were blinded and created their own narrative?

Maybe they read Qatari money + BTC and that was enough, who knows?

Everyday is a school day it seems.

I had no idea BTC was such a cult. I listened to the interview and thought it was good, but what do I know?

You have a responsibility to consider all options when investing so why be closed minded to other possibilities? Particularly as a company official.

I guess todays message didn’t appeal to the hardcore BTC….

Time will tell. I'll be happy to see 20p at which point I'll be breakeven.

If it ever gets back there, I'll make a call on if I wish to remain invested. Until then, I'll sit on the holding. I don't need the money, so there's little point selling at a 50% loss.

From the very first Spaces call. I was underwhelmed with the CEO. Just looked out of his depth to me. So it's good that there's been a change. If it's a change for the better we'll only know in hindsight.

The raise price somewhat strangles the short term upside here IMO. Raising below previous raises is not good, not good at all. If you want a real world example of how it pegs the SP in this segment you only need look as far as SWC.

Still it can't be worse than it was yesterday. What really matters is not what we think, it's what the market thinks. So far the markets seems to have said ...Meh.....

I guess it's waiting to see how it unfolds like the rest of us, many of whom will need to see a 100% rise from here to even hit breakeven.

We all have different goals and agendas.

If there were no sellers, where would you be able to buy from?

The reality is Vult is stillborn without a consolidation. So it's a necessity. Nothing is going to happen until that's undertaken.

End of September at the earliest IMO.

Share consolidation 19th August at the AGM. Then the OTC application can be made, which seems to take a minimum 30 days judging by others.

Unless of course they can apply before the consolidation knowing they will qualify for the $0.01 minimum SP requirement before they get there? I'm not sure of the actual mechanics of the application.

What interests me most is the importance that’s being put on governance and credibility.

Main market LSE listing, FCA registered broker to manage the transactions as a partnership, not just a broker.

It feels like the foundations for something special are being laid. It’s likely to revolve around the money they want to attract long term.

Wealth funds? Pension Funds? Sovereign funds? Who knows, right know we’re guessing.

So the next move or moves are going to be very important to “setting out the stall”.

As much as we want to see BTC accrual, I’m looking forward to it being done in a different manner to those that have gone before.

That's the £500 Million question isn't it. What next?

Try and switch off from the intraday swings. If this is what I think it is, it could be a behmouth. That doesn't happen overnight.

There's no such thing as bad publicity.

Realistically, if you're getting investment advice from Mail Money, you're unlikely to be in this market.

The coverage is going mainstream, is that such a bad thing?

Don't read too much into the "black" trades. I'm in three stocks listed on Aquis and they all have one thing in common. Any trades above £6,000 don't report immediately.

Even the buys I made, which I process on HL, all showed the same pattern, reporting an hour or so later, sometimes longer. Anything under £6k seems to show as normal.

Part of me wants to see this fly, but my sensible head knows if it does it will only retrace until we have some news of substance. Which is now just a matter of time. I kind of like that it's still flying under the radar right now.

HAMA is different IMO. All the other BTC plays are set up by those "in the know" who then try and find the money. Initially private investors, then hopefully attract institutions.

HAMA differs in so much as, "the money" has decided to set up it's own BTC treasury. Could well be a game changer.

Follow the money. Take a position and switch off to the intraday movements. Then sit back.

The shareholder presentation is in September at some point. We won't truly know what's going on until then.

So it's likely to be up and down between now and then.

If you're invested for the main event, that's when we'll find out what's happening. If you're trading the momentum I wish you luck. It's not something I ever managed to do well at.

I figure I'm here until Sept at least to find out what's happening. In the meantime what will be, will be.

We all have a number, and for each of us it will be different.

Where you are in life, how comfortable you are, how many other fingers you have in other pies.....so many variables.

For me it's a house I've got my eye on in Greece. I'm moving there permanently at the end of next month, I've rented a villa. But I've found something I'd like to buy and restore.

36p in HAMA buys me that house. Anything over that goes towards the restoration and I can keep all my savings intact.

So it's unlikely I'd be here at £1 if it ever got there. If I am it would be because it went banana's one afternoon and rose so quickly it caught us by surprise.

Excellent, that's been the blockage holding this back.

Long term thinking I feel they may even be looking at BTC as an "alternative" to gold, or somehow use them combined as a benchmark. I think the days of FIAT currency are numbered as the planet is now so global due to freedom and speed of information.

For me that ties in with Dr Laffers appointment here. It's his vision of the economy moving forward.

I think the gold could turn out to be a happy bonus, but I certainly don't see it as (or at least it's no longer) the main play here.

Personally, I see the Gold mining as a "fig leaf". It's a front for compliance that gives the new owners a fastrack onto the main market of LSE.

With a main market listing comes with credibility and compliance. It's world recognised and is likely to be something investors of this nature would expect.

You aren't going to invest 7, 8 or maybe even 9 figures into an AIM stock, nevermind one on the access portion of Aquis.

I have a theory about why this is. If you look behind the scenes at all the other BTC plays, you keep finding the same names. Directors, advisors, financing. The same people, same play, rinse and repeat. It’s a nice incestuous club of those in the know raking in placing fees and free warrants from the retail buyer and hoping to snag some institutional Investment on the way.

Except HAMA. Which has come from totally left field. Completely outside the “club” using it’s own money, it’s own finance, it’s own business model.

Why would they promote something that’s outside of their world?

Yeah i still don't see much awareness out there yet apart from the same 3-4 people on twitter lol. it certainly isn't being talked about in the bitcoiner places i hang out
