For any of you out there who are like me, a bit of a dinosaur, when it comes to understanding Bitcoin and crypto currencies in General. I highly recommend watching the clip below.

It was somewhat comforting seeing that Dr Laffer also doesn't fully understand the technology behind this. But that's not what he's here for.

I now have a much better grasp of the "why" even though I may not and maybe never will understand the how.

Economics I understand, technology I'm afraid has left me behind.

HL are a bit rubbish, I've just moved to them from IG and I'm using my old IG log in to track it live.

I think it has something to do with Aquis. I've been trying to get them to add another stock and they've said at the moment they won't due to it being on the Access part of Aquis and it causing them some issues.

Maybe explains the continued late reporting of "black" trades. My buy yesterday was shown and hour or so later.

Then immediately I come up with this thesis a sell goes through over £5k reported normally!

The pattern today seems to be £5K. Anything below that reports normally, anything above that, delayed and black.....wonder why?

Yeah it sucks. I just moved there from IG. The charts are particularly poor.

Someone's had enough and lost confidence, which is fair enough. It's not for everyone. It's why you take a punt on things like this with money you're comfortable taking a total loss on.

I'm massively down, like most others, no point throwing in the towel now, unless of course you think the SP will continue to slide, at which point you can buy back in with more shares.

Nothing will happen here now until the OTC listing, then fundraising as a result of the OTC listing. Could be months realistically.

It's irritating that posters on X make statements like "OTC listing within a week". It helps no one and reflects badly if it doesn't materialise.

Sit back, stick them in the bottom drawer and come back when some concrete news appears. The entire sector is in a lull. Particularly in the UK.

Fundamentally, you either believe it or you don't. It's binary now.

The direct answer to the OTC listing was "we're in the queue and doing what we can to get to the front of it"

I feel everything is in a holding pattern until that materialises. To that end I'd be very surprised if we see any more BTC purchases before that's in place.

I thought it was better than the first two.

It’s an awkward position if you think about it. You can’t really ask the direct questions you want answered for two reasons.

If the answers are available, it’s likely market sensitive information and would have to be provided through official channels.

Or

Right now they don’t have the answer.

Kind of damned if you do damned if you don’t.

I get the feeling nothing can happen until the USA have reasonable access and the PR machine starts broadcasting in that direction.

I did buy at that price, 14:04 - 200,000 @ 3.278 - £6556 which interestingly didn't show up on the trades.

Be interesting to see if it's one of the black late reported ones. I've always been curious why that occurs.

How are you arriving at the £500,000 figure? As in calculations?

I'm getting about a 5th of that from what I'm understanding. Which admittedly could be entirely wrong.

I've been reading what I can find about this share recently trying to understand why it continues to fly under the radar and trade at less than NAV.

I've been looking through old RNS's and the following jumped out in the May 24 "Proposed Tender offer"

2. BACKGROUND TO AND REASONS FOR THE TENDER OFFER

The Company was admitted to trading on AQSE on 16 April 2021 when it raised £35,000,000 (before expenses). As at 20 March 2023 the Company had a net asset value of £36.3 million (3.61p per share) including £28.87 million (2.87p per share) in liquid crypto-assets but a bid price per share representing a 58% discount to such net asset value. The Board was then and remains of the opinion that the Ordinary Shares will continue trading at a discount to the Company's net asset value in the short to medium term and therefore it is appropriate to offer Shareholders an opportunity to exit.

Why?

Why trade at a discount? It's not hidden, it's published there in black and white for all to read.

Is this a pension for those concerned, build, build and build more than sell the lot in one hit?

Is it a tax thing?

Maybe building as a takeover vehicle or be taken over?

Part of me wants to park a pile of cash here in my ISA, but I'm struggling to get my head around the business model and potential exit. The value is clearly there.

BTW, it mentions CREST clearance in this RNS. So I assume it's on that system.

I called HL today and asked if they'd make it available. A request has been submitted. I'm awaiting a response.

The churn will eventually end and the SP will find it's natural level until further news.

I really don't like shares with these fractional penny prices......you see a 110m share trade, momentarily panic, and the reality is it's only £20k.....

It will be nice to eventually see some whole penny numbers. HL or IG don't have enough decimal places to give a representative live price often at these tiny numbers!

I'm looking forward to seeing what the opening position will be here at HAMA. What the long term plan is and how they expect it to unfold.

Here's hoping they decide to come at it with a sledgehammer rather than softly softly. An opening huge position rather than a drip feed and placing after placing.

A shareholder call is also being arranged for early September to present a detailed strategic roadmap, including the formalisation of Hamak's Bitcoin Treasury Policy and medium-term plans to differentiate the Company within the digital asset space. Details of this call will be announced in due course."

September is when we'll get the full overview of what's planned here. I'm looking forward to this as I have a feeling it's a bit more than "we're buying Bitcoin".

In the meantime there will be two more appointments we guess? Maybe some other developments.

10p by Friday? I doubt it, but I certainly wouldn't complain. At 5p it's found it's current level and will likely bounce around 4p-5p until the next bit of news.

If it goes quiet, then it will likely slide a bit.

There are a few major differences between Hama and its peers. The main market listing is a big deal. The acces to UHNWI's via the MBS fund and the most recent appointment of Dr Laffer.

I'm also in VULT and V3TC, I see them all a bit different from each other.

I'm not sure they even need to be bought....
