Votes had to be cast by yesterday for the funding.

The sceptic in me is thinking the "interview" was waffle, or not what they were hoping for, so delayed until the votes were cast.

Maybe I've just become cynical in retirement. No longer surprised at the constant letdowns.

I was also a No vote, twice. As I hold these in my ISA and trading account.

For the very same reason Gigont states.

I can't make an informed decision without details of what they intend to do with the money. Simply due to the lack of communication.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

For some reason (way above all our pay grades) BTCTC's on the LSE are persona non grata right now.

I expect to see more word salad here, lots of rebranding, much in the way of palm pressing and conventions, but sweet FA in the way of real substance.

No institutional investments, no whales loading up.

I wait to be proven wrong and will be delighted if I am.

If there isn't an immediate and steady flow of news, you wonder what they've been doing for months.

Well, they have until the 28th (that's the deadline for the proxy vote on line, at least it is via HL).

I'd come to the same conclusion already. If nothing of substance is presented between now and the AGM, I feel I have no alternative but to vote no to the funding.

I’m going to echo the same. I’m struggling to understand the appointment of a man of that stature, politically and economically. Then, announce (publicly) that he will be unveiling the strategy, albeit at a private event. Then choose not to make that information available.

We’re shortly going to be asked to vote for the funding discussed recently. I find myself asking, funding for what exactly? What’s the strategy of Hamak Strategy?

How do they intend to use the money?

Something has to be forthcoming. Even if it’s just to answer the basics of what we’re asking to vote for with regard to the CLN and ATM facility.

Slightly odd situation.

In danger of breaching minimum requirements for OTC listing unless there's a reversal in the direction of the SP.

Sounds like quite a few here would be more suited to investing in lottery tickets.

I'm retired (at 56) living comfortably on a Greek Island. Companies like Hama are "lottery tickets" in my eye's.

This is not currently an investment as we don't realistically know what we're investing in in detail other than a partial share in a gold prospect.

I'm looking at a bigger picture. Outside of the UK which is why Laffer drew me here. I was aware ofr ARK investments and his association with it's founder. So when his appointment was announced here that was my trigger to invest.

The President of the USA is openly and on a macro economic level manipulating markets towards crypto. He's making policies whilst that very same time investing heavily in the very things that those policies promote and benefit. I'm astonished it's being allowed to continue it is so transparent.

I'm here becuase of Laffer and his connection with Cathie Wood, and US governmental policy.

So based on your own trading history there sharpey you're about as clueless as the rest of us.

We'll know in hindsight if this was a P&D. When I initially bought into this I figured very little will happen this year. I just assumed taking on a new asset class like this on the main market was going to run into unforseen hurdles. Prospectus issues and such.

It is, after all, a punt. Buying shares in a company which you not quite sure what it's doing other than gold and something to do with Bitcoin treasury.

We're all chasing the same rainbow. Hamak is another rainbow.

Hopefully tomorrow we find out some more about the direction it's taking, if we don't what exactly has changed?

They can't really discuss what they'd do with the announced funding until after the 3rd Nov meeting surely?

I'm not entirely sure what everyone is expecting. Dr Laffer is a macroeconomist.

Take a look at any one of the many forum type conversations he's had alongisde Cathie Wood on YouTube. That's probably what's going to unfold tomorrow.

Excitment about the future, Bitcoin supporting gold as an alternate store of value. What Hamak expect to do when they eventually start generating revenue.

It's been made clear in the RNS that no new information about the company will be imparted.

Personally I'm expecting very little in the way of substance, and neither is the share price currently. If anything of substance does appear I'll be pleasantly suprised.

If it is, there will be nothing to hide behind going forward. So let's get this show on the road, if in fact there is a show to get on the road. Because the entire BTCTC sector in the UK appears to be a complete shambles.

I'm not entirely sure what news it could be. They can't commit the funding to anything until after it's gone through the motions on 3rd Nov.

Let's assume it's ratified in the meeting. Some idea of how it's being deployed is what everyone is waiting to hear. So that's at least a fortnight away.

Dr Laffer speaks next week, but what could he actually say? It's made clear in the RNS that he's not going to be revealing any new company information.

Meanwhile, TW has really got his knickers in a twist. He is of course, entitled to his opinion just as we all are. Strangely, there are some people who pay to read what he has to say (of which I'm not one). But the reality is, he knows no more than anyone else of what the Hamak intends to do and what, in fact, the strategy is.

The only real news of substance that can be issued immediately is to do with the Gold mining.

Until that's answered in some detail, it's open season for anyone to throw anything like in the general direction of X or bulletin boards such as this, and there's little in the way of real substance with which you can defend the company.

Still the strangest investment I've ever been involved with.

I see a potential repeat of earlier this month. A build up to.......nothing new. It's a week or so away, anything big would probably have been disclosed by now. If that occurs this will drift further and we'll see 1's unfortunately.

I'm tempted to buy more now, but I'm already in with a reasonable chunk. So if nothing of substance appears this month, I'll be able to buy cheaper. If a rabbit is pulled out of the hat, my current holding is enough to benefit from the rise.

Look at this entire sector in the UK, it's in a kind of limbo whilst people see what happens next. Strangest share I've ever been invested in.

I think you've highlighted an important point here that some are missing.

Right now Hamak is potential and that's it. The longer nothing of substance occurs the less attractive that potential appears. That is what the SP is tracking, not any intrinsic underlying value.

As I type the Mcap is £10-£11m at an sp in the low 2p's.

The company owns 20 BTC, worth today approx £2.4m.

What value is being prescribed to the gold asset with FAU? £8m?

The positive results from the drilling were already built into the price, if they were poor results this would be back to under 1p.

I'm here for potential, I keep thinking about buying a few more, but I'm already exposed enough based on the information that we already know. I also can't see a great deal happening this side of Christmas so I'm no rush to throw more capital at HAMA until I see some substance. Some direction and some value being added by the big names that have been courted by the BOD.

Is it undervalued right now? Not in my opinion. Like many others, I was expecting to have seen a little more direction already.

Let's see what Dr Laffer adds later this month when the Hamak Strategy BTC "Strategy" is unveiled. But if there's nothing of substance approaching or soon after that, then the SP will likely react just as did to the presentation earlier this month.

Still, a single RNS with the right information can change everything in an instant.

Meltdown? I'm a realist.

I got sucked in like a few others. But at 70% down on initial investment, there's little point selling, so they've been shoved in the bottom drawer where a few other bad decisions over the years reside.

I'd be delighted to be proven wrong and recoup my money. I just don't think it's going to happen.

Fortunately, it was a punt money for me, so it makes no material difference to my life.

Time will tell, but I think the OTC is now grasping at straws.

Ask yourself, if you knew three months ago what you know now, would you be sitting and waiting to see what happens or would be throwing large sums at it now? The directors aren't and they know what's happening.

That's what this is, we were all too early and we're now pinning our hopes on these "OG's and Experts" to somehow turn it around and quadruple the SP.

That's not investing, that's hope and I got sucked in too.

I admire your almost blind positivity, but my belief in these people to deliver left the chat a while ago with a large chunk of my investment.

I have a feeling that once the OTC does go live, if and when that ever happens. It will be a repeat of the Frankfurt listing. A damp squib.

1xNav is the level for BTCTC right now that are moderately active. Under Nav for those apparently doing nothing.

With the ban on ETN's having been lifted in the UK, I get the feeling that any potential investor is sitting on the fence and just seeing what happens over the coming months.

Sometimes you just have to admit you got it wrong, that's the case with this one. It's one I wish I'd never got involved with.

The lack of director participation, even at these "discounted" levels, tells us all we need to know.

On top of that we don't know how much all these "OG's and experts" are sucking out of the pot on a monthly basis. I have no doubt it will be more than any "income" that's being generated.
