But letters is where they make their money.
Addressed letter volumes down 33%. Wow!
Lol!
Turkeys love Christmas. Without Christmas they wouldn't be born.
Yep but its 30 minutes for 4 hours in my office.
Wolves you're brainwashed by the capitalist elite. Why shouldn't the working man have it easy?
30 minutes for a 4 hour shift at this mail centre. How does that compare with other offices?
But how do RM get paid for the extra time and effort collecting them from houses rather than the customer posting them?
If so how do RM get paid for the extra work involved? Or are they doing it for free?
Ofcom will have to step in to save the USO if RM carry on losing money. It will be interesting to see what they come up with. Whatever they do it wouldn't be for the benefit of shareholders that's for sure
I does give an indication of what Ofcom think of RM though. Talk about kicking us when were down.
£1.5m for late 1st class and 100k for the price rise **** up. From which RM gave the profits to charity. They may as well kept them.
The system for measuring quality is flawed anyway.
Double negative.
Where does it say that redundancies will be voluntary? If you're on the list you're out.
Boris Johnson photos wouldn't matter, Keir starmer photos maybe. Most Investors, including the big holders don't understand RMG. There are billions of letters and millions of parcels delivered every year that no one else can deliver without losing money. We are an essential service. We can't go bust. We can't all lose our jobs. The company can't be taken over and split up or all the assets sold off. The country can't survive without Royal Mail and the USO is all part of that. Government knows the state of play and can do what it takes to protect us. Change laws or impose restrictions on competition or supply funding. CWU will never recant and always prevail
It is a bit annoying that those that are still sat at home got the 200 quid. Some in my office are still off with their expected return date now end of August.. However you can't blame CWU, it's a management issue.
CWU won. They will now put forward a radical plan. A good plan for RMG and a good plan for posties. Unfortunately not so good for shareholders. I will be surprised if they ever reinstate the dividend.
Great. Pay rise and the VR with 2 years pay. It is like Christmas every day.
A substantial back dated pay rise should be agreed by the end of July and then let's have our SWW.
