Should re-rate to about 40p once the deal is settled then a bit of good news flow and I expect around 80p.
P58, I heard Friday also but things change so let's see. I don't think they would dare cancel our Xmas bonus.
Maybe they will return some of the spare cash to shareholders.
Maybe not then. It's not like Christmas here anymore though it's like Christmas X 2 so not sure where all the money is going. It can't be agency costs because we own the agency don't we? Maybe management are getting fleeced on PPE.
Rumours it's sorted
Lol!
I assume letters will be defined by size and so will include large letters and small parcels. Should save us a fortune.
Very busy here, it really is like Christmas already..
I'm not sure why but all our Chinese parcels come relabeled in the UK now. I did order an item on eBay from China that cost me 49p including postage so they can't be charging them much.
I'm expecting a profit.
In fact if your work place has been risk assessed and it is found that not wearing a mask is a risk to health then you and management would be negligent if you carry on working.
There is no legal requirement to provide evidence of an exemption. If management are saying that you are a health risk if you're not wearing a mask then anyone not wearing one should be sent home. Management have an legal obligation to protect staff. Having a note from the doctor doesn't negate the risk.
I'm here. The share is being re-rated by stealth, hopefully it will continue for a while and then settle before some news on expected developments.
I would say about 50 percent of staff here are wearing them. How does that compare with elsewhere?
I'm hoping for some 3 day duties once we negotiate our 2 hour reduction entitlement.
Not sure why Amazon put in for it. Maybe they hope to get some cream off the top and leave us with the dregs.
It's a strange situation, if true, that the more parcel volume the more money we lose. I don't see the point of it all. Why not just double the prices and lose half the work to competitors? Same cash turnover with half the cost. I often see yorks go out with less than 10 oversized parcels on. Last week i saw a York of tree stakes being posted to Scotland. We are already over stretched and failing every night. We need to reduce volume and the best strategy is the bump the prices up. Why offer a service that loses you money?
RM can rent warehouse space and there are plenty of agency staff to work in them but I have no idea if it will work out profitable or not. Letter volumes will be huge this year because many people will have to post their Xmas cards rather than hand deliver them. Unfortunately quite a lot of those need to be sorted manually so again will it be profitable?
Regarding clocking in. I start early every day and don't go until I'm called of so I don't have an issue with it. But why should I agree to a change in my terms without getting something back in return? That is management sentiment and so the workers expect the same.
