Finished the day on major resistance and the ma it has failed to break since the sell off started, 50ma about to cross 100ma, 20ma crossed the 200ma ( which it hasn't since golden cross (aaarrgghh) in 2016 and that was the other way obv.

A gap up on open puts it on top of the ma and probably signals a further rise, gap down and may struggle to overcome the multiple bearish signals.

The standouts here are McSh*t, Visa, J and J and UH, both at or near ath's

All the others in the 50% club, the first 9 or so have seen a bit of volatility. I suspect these are being kept an eye on for signs of weakness but, hell, I still though Alcoa was in the 30 until I was put right

Look at 2014/15, should have naturally corrected, 7 year cycle, ECB etc etc kept it going up off the 50ma post then. A bubble of everything not just equities.

It just depends on other sectors, just watching it today it was quite disconnected from drops but there was still a connection whereas amy rises were very direct with it. Haven't looked but maybe Boeing or Cat or one of the other heavily weighted ones was more consistently rising. Probably not those two actually given trade disputes but some of tothers.
