Sorry, to be clear the technical buying comes in 'after ' the resistance is breached.

You might just get very lucky with the timing here and overcome the resistance on the back of that 'news' triggering technical buying. GL

One more thing so I don't feel too much like I'm giving the people what they want to hear :-). Really don't want to see 0.49 again, any lows in the next couple of days need to be above that mark.

Daisan, well that was it exactly, nowt, so how is one supposed to do any TA, Don't suppose there's any charting data on the Chinese spot price anywhere. Is there a traded spot market in China/Europe. Appreciate your expertise as I'm struggling to get much information.

Cheers that's where I got the European and China spots, China come off a bit in the last month btw but there doesn't look like I can get any data for TA which if it's priced weekly is not surprising I suppose. It's not like comex/nymex to miss an opportunity to make a market in everything, bit baffling

I have China spot and European spot for V2O5 but I can't seem to locate a Comex price despite quotes in USD and no Vanadium spot on IG ???

First off, weekly chart, in the interesting position of sitting above a major oblique downtrend support but not yet established above the uptrend resistance. hence the rather confused trading of the last few weeks plus the rise in November put the daily well overbought

Daily has gone into a price finding compression around the weekly resistance. A couple of things stand out here. The 0.53/55 level is absolutely critical because in order to breakout of the compression upwards and clear the weekly resistance it really can't afford too much of a dip. Ideally the red dotted line, 12ma above the 20ma has tilted up, decent day tomorrow and the trend should continue up.

Other thing to watch is any further weakening of the RSI where a significant drop below the green dotted line would be an indication the compression won't resolve so much as the dreaded drift.
