Hehe, obviously they're not my words but yes, big drop on Friday looked like a breakout retest. There's a load of reasons on the daily chart but it's getting a bit too messy for public exposure.

Nice simple chart highlighting where buyers lurk, bit of a drift to 50% retracement hits the green support moving to a higher trading range or if theres a bit of an overshoot 50ma, 61.8% and the oblique lower trend should catch it. A drop below there and something has gone rather awry. Imo obviously.

I have China spot and European spot for V2O5 but I can't seem to locate a Comex price despite quotes in USD. Can someone assist, cheers

Endion, I'm far more of a ma, macd, rsi, channel sort of guy, the missionary position of charting. Seeing as you've obviously persevered with the esoterica, not going to stretch the coital metaphor any further, of EWT, do you also have an interest in the harmonic / fib approach

I've been looking more carefully at which MM is at the top of the Bid or Ask at what times, and I have my own thoughts about the fact that one if not both of our newer MMs seem to me to be accumulating (not running up a short position). I suspect this is for one or more specific clients. so effectively one of the MMs is hoovering up the stupidity of others. Just my (as yet unproven) theory.

Just a little point in reference to above. It's a little while since I traded on any platform other than IG, but RSP trades on IG allow you to select which mm you wish to deal with in the unlikely event you wish to pay more to your preferred bandit. Anyway, point being there is rarely, in my experience, much correlation between who is at the top of the bid/ask on L2 and who is the most competitive and likely to be where your broker routes through.

Be interested to hear if any other platforms give all mm options

Deutsch Bank frankly looking unwell too. Joking aside there are serious concerns in Europe and sniffles in the US. I'm very interested in the longer term reaction to a lessening of the trade wars, because I think it's a bit of a red herring. I believe there are more important fundamental fragilities in the world economy.

Higher vols on a 1 week basis with a supertanker like oil given certain other techs might signal a bottom but equally $30 wasn't that long ago
