Reference Hargreaves Lansdown, As previously said, I voted for Prosperity 1-6 by email on Friday. I was concerned that my email had not been acted upon so I called this afternoon and actually got to speak to a person instead of 'leave a message'. The guy seemed very laid back to the point that I doubt my instruction will be actioned. He said they had received a number of calls today about POG but seemed unaware of the urgency/deadline. Very frustrating. I just hope there will be some intervention to prevent an asset grab - the bond holders have forgone the return in favour of the shares so as to amass a voting block. BOD never thought the bonds might bite back.
Wait for the result now, but I had hoped for a more seemly take over offer rather than this messy wrangling.

Invested since the New Year so I've done well so far.
Gold is high and the first half year production is stated as good. Therefore, I'm all for keeping the original status quo. Current SP is cheap.

I have just voted FOR Prosperity (1-6)
and AGAINST Everest (7-19)

Need to get all shareholders to vote to save OUR company.

Stix said "Best Board on AIM" and I agree with you - I bought back in October 2019 but it is exceptional circumstances here though.... the company, the lengthy suspension, the BOD aaaand these people on here who have been the glue that keeps the rest of us together.
I won't say I have lost interest a bit now, I am very happy and excited, but like Wolster, I have done all I can to mitigate tax now and therefore I feel that the trigger is ****ed and I can do nothing but wait until the trigger is pulled.
As a result I have spent more time looking at other companies lately. HEMO, GGP, ODX are a few.
As a matter of interest, what other companies are people on this BB looking at whilst waiting for EUA and chewing finger nails ???

Not mentioning any names here, but there are a few men on the BB who make me ashamed of my gender with their thinly disguised bad language and boorish attitude to others.... think before you say anything - you may be addressing your vicar's wife!

As for EUA - well it's very slow coming BUT on all that I have read over the last 12 months (I have never read up so much on a share before!) I do feel confidently relaxed on this one to the point where I don't feel the need to keep checking in. Whatever the outcome, I know that I have already done very nicely..... it's just a question of how nicely - time will tell of course, but clearly 'lady luck' is with us on this one!

I didn't know at the time but by all accounts I was fortunate - didn't hang around on SXX - got the chills and left but with only a small gain. Then got in last year on HEMO and EUA, in ordinary account.
On Eli's advice I added to HEMO this morning but within my ISA this time... shows confidence!
What puzzled me with my broker was the ask price was less than the bid price - so I just quickly pressed the button at 9.2 p Great.

To You-Know, ftsedow and Wolster. . . . may I suggest to you that anyone with new posts on a BB might not necessarily be 'new' and if they were new to the BB then you might show a little respect and even dare I say it a 'welcome'.
It seems that you have been so rattled by people who have the temerity to contribute anything that may be of interest to the BB, that you have become somewhat bigoted.

In my post I was not even expressing a point of view but merely informing people on here of the factual circumstances that have arisen in POG - another miner in Russia. Don't take my word for it - go check it for yourself.
Furthermore, I fail to see how suggesting that we need to HOLD our shares and not waste an important vote (as happened in POG) can be construed in any way shape of form as de-ramping.
And finally, can I be absolutely clear to you who freely make misjudgements without any foundation and whose major skill appears to be insulting people on any BB . . .
1. I am not a shorter.
2. I am not a de-ramper - or a ramper.
3. I have a lot of interest in EUA having acquired 250,000 before and after suspension.
4. Your remarks towards me have contributed nothing.
5. You should take classes to improve your social graces and get a grip on your behaviour towards other people.

Hmmm, Russian ownership.... interesting - might it be a worry?
If you check Petropavlovsk (POG) there are two oligarchs that have been buying up shareholders sells and amassed about 43%. Since then, acting in concert, they called a vote to remove the BOD and as 30% of shareholders didn't vote (strange I never received a vote!) their motion was carried. There is appeal by Prosperity Capital Management who hold 20% but we may still be shafted :-(
Moral is to HOLD your shares and USE YOUR VOTE or potentially lose what you might be hoping for.

Hi Weathergeek, I just opened an ISA and added my years £20,000 and spent it on a dip in EUA at .17p which felt strange having paid only .03p back along. Need to add up what I have!
Then I'll watch this and probably sell from an earlier tranche of shares that aren't protected from CGT so that the rest has basically cost me nothing.

Hello CEBO-456. You are quite correct. I apologise - I didn't express myself clearly. My English teacher said 'say what you mean and mean what you say'!
To re-phrase. . . .
'The many who are invested with a lower number of shares (votes) might CUMULATIVELY outweigh the few invested with a large number of shares (votes)'.

After all the recent activity, there is a strange calm now whilst we wait. As a very late arrival on this BB, I may not have reason to post on here again so I would like to take the opportunity to say to you all that for me it has been educational, informative, often humorous and for the most part well behaved towards one another.
Maybe see a few of you on another BB in future.

It must be the end of 'lockdown' as everyone is so polite to each other today!

Like others on the BB I noticed some very large trades shortly before suspension - which suggests to me that some were tipped off before suspension took place - insider dealing prior to any NDA's?
Having seen something similar, I ejected SXX on the plus side (with a sigh of relief) as I didn't feel that buried manure was going to attract any punters.
The bit of a scare makes one a bit more careful but I did plunge in 2019 on EUA. I thought it was actually riskier as there have been many 'dry wells' but I also thought that limited supply precious metals would really excite the predators at a time like now.

However, assuming the BOD bring forward some form of offer to be voted on by shareholders, it doesn't matter whether the shareholder is one of a few with a notifiable stake bought at 7p (prior to suspension) or one of the many of us with up to say 1M shares who bought at 1p or less ages ago. We all have a vote. This means that the minority in terms of shares held actually have the majority of votes. Which in turn means that we could reject an offer if thought too low - potentially leading to a hostile takeover at a higher price.
Would we do that to the BOD who appear to have served us so well. They may have a preferred bidder who will see them handsomely rewarded.

Just introducing myself. I have invested in a small way for many years. Today there is much better information on line through brokers, analysts and simplywallstreet but found this BB by accident whilst searching for more info on EUA. I was very concerned at the time of suspension but it is great to find some well informed posts from like minded souls.
I rejected SXX about 12 months ago even though it had many similarities to EUA. However, one difference was only one bidder.
About 10 months ago I did invest in EUA, and suspension pending sale was the best decision that I never had to make!
However, a part of me does want to spare a thought for those having to cover an unknown short in the current circumstances. Not a pleasant prospect for anyone.
