Monty,
You must stay awake all night thinking of the various angles on this process and putting out some interesting theories as well as facts. Appreciate you doing that so I can sleep easy!
It is not an uncommon practice for potential buyers and institutions to play along but also to 'drag' proceedings deliberately to turn the screws on their target so they capitulate on price. Bit like a medieval siege of a castle where the defenders are starved out. Think there was an element of that in SXX maybe.
However, doing the timely raising of funds by EUA, (the success of which will no doubt have surprised potential buyers), has sent a clear message to all that EUA is no pushover. Indeed, EUA could probably do another raise very successfully if it felt the need to bolster its bargaining position.
Like many, I have been in here (with a lot) since the 3 pence days but fortunately I am not in an urgent rush for news or a conclusion - it will take as long as it needs and feel very relaxed. In fact it is very interesting to have been in this share during such extraordinary events.
There is a date by which the agenda has to be declared for the AGM but I suspect that the circumstances will mean that it has to be very limited and few questions if any can or will be answered. Again, I am easy with that.
I hope that I am proved wrong, but I am currently of the mindset that the AGM at the end of June may be something of a non event as the deals being struck may well run over the very short remaining time frame. Disappointed for sure, but will happen and I will be happy to wait.
Dispel any doubts, keep hold of our 36% and be prepared for more good surprises.
