Our overview on Powerhouse is very similar. I too would have moved them to a hold had it not been for the news from Aviva Investors last month.

It's sometimes said that one thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. I suppose in that regard I'm okay.

The reason I've been quiet is because you bored me into submission, Dusty. It was the horse racing tips and your turning this share discussion board into your own personal Facebook page that did me in. You had me in a headlock but had to let me go when I started snoring.

I came to this bulletin board as an ex Powerhouse investor, having sold out with concerns about Howard White's actions, Protos and the failed Scotland endeavour. I came to this bulletin board, still interested and believing in Powerhouse technology with a view to reinvesting if the company looked promising, expecting and hoping to engage in objective discussion about the company.

Encountering Castle was a real eye opener. I'd never come across anyone so ill informed, uneducated and childlike on something so serious as share dealing in my entire life. I tried repeatedly to get him to converse on a sensible level but all he was capable of was clown emojis. At no point, never ever on one single solitary moment, has he attempted to have an objective, rational discussion with anyone who has an opposing viewpoint to him.

Powerhouse have had good news recently, and I'm pleased for them. I do want them to succeed. But there are caveats that come with the news and warning signs about the industry in general that are keeping investors away at the moment.

Do a bit of basic research into self sustaining kilns and you will soon discover it's in fact the norm within the industry.

From what I read on here no one has said upscaling is beyond possible. All that's being stated is how difficult, costly and time consuming it most likely shall be.

Air Products is a multi billion dollar conglomerate. For investors in a start-up (Emmitt's recent terminology) AIM company with an Mcap approximately £40m, not yet turning a profit, with no saleable product, burning through its cash reserves to dismiss Air Products problems outright is foolish.

What you as an investor, and those as potential investors, need to ask themselves is, if the test centre is on time and a success, and all the potential customers come to visit, what does the company say to them when they say they want 10, 15, 20 and more tons per day capacity?

Leviathans within the industry who build pyrolysis plants strongly advise customers not to purchase anything that has not been proven to work at full scale.

What is Powerhouse's USP that brings those potential customers on board and persuades them not to go to competitors who can provided that extra capacity now and which has been proven?

It's no good people keep saying orders shall flow if the test centre is a success.

Those stating that said the share price would be much higher now upon the arrival of the kiln back in the summer. Then it was the news of the patent that would get the share price up and confirmation of funding from Australia. Emmit buying ten grands worth of shares was then jumped upon as the catalyst. After that his share options. Now it's a successful test centre...

Reference to Air Products failure does not suggest or imply that a 'scientific breakthrough' is needed to scale up. Merely, it's cited as an example of how difficult it can be.

I agree, we do need to promote home grown innovation. But in doing so we also need to be honest about claims that are constantly being put forward that supposedly sets that innovation apart from competitors and which promotes it as being better than anything currently available and which shall bring customers flocking.

Powerhouse has been promoted as being the only pyrolosis technology that is green and self-sufficient, and it is these qualities that set it apart and which shall bring it many orders.

This is simply untrue and as investors and potential investors on a share bulletin board needs to be called out.

I wish Powerhouse all the best and hope they are successful, but totally false claims about their technology do investors no favours whatsoever.

But what I mean is whether the difference in a patent is sufficient enough to really make a difference.

Patents don't necessarily mean uniqueness. For Powerhouse or anyone holding patents. It could just be a slightly different way of doing something that others are doing.

Despite my opinion here, my interest really is a genuine one as to what, if anything, sets Powerhouse technology apart from others. Those who simply post Powerhouse technology is unique should be able to back it up and explain how. In the same way claims of shares being shorted and some being sold by the White family should be proven.

When I posted last week ( and last year) about Air Products having to write off a billion dollars due to problems scaling up, I did so to highlight that doing so was not as straight forward as some on here claim it to be. In my post last weekend I even made a point after again highlighting Air Products failed foray that there were companies who had made a success of it, and even named one.

At no point have I said, or even hinted, at 'every man and his dog' capturing the market.

You're either not reading my posts correctly or are deliberately twisting my words because of my overall view here.

There is a lot of utter crap being posted here which is not being backed up by those stating it: there is no evidence the White family are selling; the supposed uniqueness of Powerhouse technology is false and there are no open short positions on Powerhouse shares.

Because my viewpoint is a more negative one I'm the one who gets accused of being a deramper and having an agenda, whilst those who have an agenda in the other direction are not seen as such because they are telling you what you want to here.

Pyrolysis companies are now able to offer what Powerhouse have still yet to test and validate and which some still believe are unique to Powerhouse Energy: continuous rotating kiln; self sustaining heat source and ultra low emissions.

It's out there now at 30 to 50 tons per day capacity.

Powerhouse are behind the curve. They have to convince potential purchasers of their technology upon successful test centre opening at the end of the year not to buy off competitors, who have proven and readily available technology at full scale now.

They could just as well be buys. As they are in black it's unknown. Clearly they are block trades by institutional investors etc.

The time reported for the 5 million I don't understand. I thought block trades had to be reported within 30 minutes. At 9am there was a marked uptick in price. Also, towards closing I noticed it climb from 0.95 back to a penny.
