When selling to the public ask you can ever have are targets and approximations until after its happened.
Ultimately you're either invested because you believe in the story or you don't know why you're invested. If you want to wait for proven and repeatable revenues then you're in the steady state world and the potential returns would be lower. Note I said potential.

I'm actually starting to think that the wait is a good thing, if this was simply a sale for an absurdly low price to recover just enough funds then DD would be simple as risk reward would be high and it'd be pocket change for the right people, there was what £8m in cash, so they'd need 5-7m to cover costs and recover the 13.
That it is taking longer suggests that the fund 'raising' is more complex, so maybe it is only selling off some IP and that would require more DD and ensuring that the cut is clean etc.
Or there are barge poles at work and no one is coming near it.
