I picked a few up myself today too. The valuation of this company doesn't make sense. Surely some of these finds will benefit the shareholders. They have more than enough cash to commence a share buyback. What are they waiting for...

It could easily reach 500 by the end of next month. Shorts will no doubt close their positions, Brexit deal and a Christmas rally should see this get there. In the new year this should push on north especially if dividends are reintroduced and no doubt there will be talk of a takeover...

If you are not happy as a shareholder you should either sell or be proactive and contact the company and ask if they have any intention of giving something back to shareholders. It is frustrating as in the past this company has bent over backwards to dole out money to Lesotho community projects but doesn't reward the very people (shareholder's) whom deserve a share of the company's good fortune as the bod and Lesotho have done very well out of it. The asset is certainly world class and is worth a lot more than the market is currently valuing it at. I personally think the bod are on borrowed time and will have to show good faith to shareholders by either declaring a dividend on commencing a buyback programme or a combination of both. When this happens the shares should rerate to a sensible level as where they are now is just ridiculous. I pointed out before that the patient will be rewarded. In the right hands this company has to be worth in the region of £150m.

If anybody should have been adding at the bargain basement prices it should have been the company doing a share buyback. I really don't understand why they didn't. It would have been the best use of proceeds. Still they should still consider it now as the company is worth a lot more than the market gives it credit for. They should pick up what they can below 70.

You could certainly be right Hellyeah. I wouldn't rule it out as they have been oversold and deserve to be higher. The company must see the future with positivity taking on a record number of grads and apprentices. Kontiki have reduced their short position to 0.57%. The shorts still have a lot of shares to buy back. Note Gladstone have the largest short at 2.4%. Anyway a big thank you to them for pushing MCRO down as I managed to pick them up at very low levels. They are up nearly 30% today. Lets hope the same happens here...

I think this is a sound update. Investors need to step back and see how much this has fallen compared to the general market. This has been pushed down because certain large shorters were expecting a rights issue and this hasn't happened and judging by the EBITDA margin they won't need one in the future. Gladstone have started to reduce their short position and no doubt others will take their lead. GLA

Kontiki have reduced their short from 0.92 to 0.66. This should start to recover.

I picked up some yesterday too as they haven't benefited from the vaccine rise like other companies. Considering they have found large stones and managed to sell them at decent prices this should be back at pre Covid prices. They also have no debt. Surely this is the time for the bod to start a share buyback programme... It would be the most positive use of cash right now.

I wouldn't be too worried about charts at this current time as this is being manipulated probably for a takeover. Time will tell...

More share price manipulation. Where are the FCA? They may find something going on here if they care to look...

I think the bears will focus on negative results but unless you believe that Covid will be here for the next 5 years then I think they are off little value to the future performance. It is looking very likely that a Brexit deal will be done especially now the French have their way over fishing and this will drive the whole market forward as uk companies have gone nowhere since 2016. Analysts often get it wrong and lets not forget most of them were sceptical with regards to the Ocado tie up but give credit where its due to the Bod for getting this move right. Remember every day that goes by is one closer to a successful vaccine. This has been way oversold in my view...

It's no secret that private equity was interested in taking over Mcro. For any potential acquirer it is in their interests to get the share price down of their target. I would assume that Gladstone are running the pool for other hedge funds whom are remaining below the 0.25% short holding. It really is quite incredible how this practice is legal but the government will not go against the hedge funds as they are big political sponsors. The problem is this practice is always swept under the carpet but it does happen at the expense of the shareholders. Why the government didn't take the lead from other countries and place a temporary ban in such times is quite incredible but I suppose they have to make the exclusive few that much richer.

If the hedge funds play the order book like they have for the last few months any potential bidder must be rubbing their hands as the potential bid price now could be around the 350 mark. Having said that would the current bod recommend it...

Beza - These are good results but there is a clear agenda at the moment to focus on the negative. You are quite right with your assumption that if BT came out with poor results this would certainly be making the rounds on all media formats. You only have to look at the lack of comments on this bulletin board today. Unfortunately it is the order of the day to focus on the negative. There are a lot of positives to be taken from todays results and I am more than happy to hold for the longterm where I see the reintroduction of dividends and a higher share price.

Who is selling them then apart from the hedge funds? This is clearly being played with as there has been no RNS with regards to change of holdings. Hedge funds are known to work in packs and I would put money on it that it is happening here. Sometimes the hedge funds don't even bother to disclose their short interests to the FCA (eg, PMO). A lot won't go over 0.25% as this information is provided to the government. Face facts this is being aggressively shorted and its not being done by your average investor. This is being controlled and unfortunately they have it by the balls and like I said I don't think this will change until the company comes out with some positive news and then they will flee to their next unfortunate target.
