I wonder if Sibanye are interested in buying GEMD as they are always on the lookout for expansion via takeovers. You just have to look how from a gold spin off they are now the largest PGM miners in the world. I know Froneman has indicated he is specifically interested in battery metals but he loves a bargain and this is one. Just by closing the London office and with all the associated costs would save a tidy sum per annum. The non ex chairman of GEMD is also a non ex at Sibanye. Similar sort of pattern here when they took over Lonmin by keeping the price down artificially low and ridiculous broker targets. Fortunately I was picking them up by the bucket loads in the 40s and they are the equivalent of 300 now. The difference though here is that it is difficult to pick up stock more than 25,000 shares a time but I was possible to pick up 150,000 the other day. I have added here again today. GLA
