With regards to hope, I don't. I do my research and invest, if the price falls but the fundamentals don't change I hold and won't be deterred. Especially by some of the cretins you get on bulletin boards.

Well if the hedge funds were so sure of their short position here they wouldn't have to employ people to bash the share all day. It's very transparent.
Genuine investors - Think to yourself would you bother wasting your time going on other boards writing a lot of negative drivel all day? Life is too short. They have an agenda, just be aware...

This is only valued at £5.5bn. Look at the assets and the current price of silver and gold. The fundamentals are there and that's what wins through... The current price is a joke.

I think they have a better grasp of the value than the hedge funds shorting this. Always a good sign to see the directors purchasing...

Well I wouldn't be surprised if an entity have made an approach and they have been declined as the bod don't have to disclose a takeover approach if they feel the offer undervalues the company. They are a sitting duck at the moment. Some outfit are going to throw in their hat soon enough and chance their luck.

This has been way oversold of late. This looks ridiculously cheap and I can only see it going one way and thats up north...

It would have been a sensible move when they were in the 30's and I still believe at the current price it would make sense especially considering we are in a rising diamond market. At least they have reinstated dividends.
Well if they go much lower I will start adding. Fortunately I picked up a good chunk of KOD at 0.12 so at least that makes up for the lacklustre performance here.

I see that Ultra have a bid in from Cobham today. I am kicking myself as I was looking at them not that long ago and was very close to buying. The UK market is being priced like a 3rd world country at the moment and I think one by one companies will be taken over. Ironically I was a holder of Cobham when they were taken over.
My firm belief is that MCRO is being held down for a takeover...

As you know Dave I have been saying that they should implement a share buy back for some time. This would increase eps and now seems a good time considering we are in the midst of a rising diamond market.
Does anybody have any ideas about Ghagoo?

I suppose in answer to your question, the bod want to let the figures do the talking. It would be a fillip if we had some news on Ghagoo as that has dragged on for far too long. We all know that Lesteng is a world class mine and what can they do to promote that any more than they have. We should be in for some more large finds soon and with prices rising should hold the company in great stead. The way I see it is that we have a great base on which to build with rising diamond prices. When this filters through no doubt the brokers will increase their target prices accordingly as in my view they have been rather bearish considering the strides the company has made. We will get to a proper valuation soon enough imho.

Looking at the manipulated price here it wouldn't surprise me to see Penoles put in an offer for the remaining 25%. Something is afoot here...

It all seems like it's going to plan here. This is way oversold due to the hedge funds.

Even RBC have raised their target to 260 with an outperform. It looks as though it's hit the floor and should rise from this base.

I have been doing it for an awfully long time and I'm still standing. I do my research and stick with it and then patience is the key. I once held SOLG for quite a period and fell impatient selling quite a few million shares at 3p to see them rise into the 40s literally a few months later. I learnt my lesson there that patience is of paramount importance. I will be holding here for sure as I see a great risk reward play.

I don't bother with charts. Hedge funds can manipulate them to their own ends. I stick to the fundamentals and I believe the company will be able to throw off $700m free cash per year going forward. Having a potential pe of 5 for next year looks enticing. This is a global company and entering partnerships with serious players in an exciting arena. This has been unfairly beaten down but I will take advantage and add as I have faith. The only problem I am concerned about is an opportunist low ball offer at 750 or so. Not that I would accept it but at least it would burn the shorters in the meantime.

Covid was the 24th leading cause of death in May in the uk according to Government stats. What will the nanny state do next, ban alcohol, cigarets and driving. When there are no cars on the road no doubt that would lead to pedestrians being killed by cyclists so then cycling will be banned. We just have to man up and live with it. Rolls will bounce back...

It's refreshing to see that the verbal diarrhoea crew have refrained from posting today. Perhaps they are too busy buying back before MCRO goes ex dividend.

I was debating against the trolls when I had LMI. Even one of the brokers had a price target at 15p. I bought by the bucket load and when they were taken over by Sibanye, I took the shares. They have gone up 7x for me as I sold the majority over 70 ZAR. Sibanye had taken on a lot of debt and the market didn't like it but just in the last quarter alone the company announced that the profit generated in that quarter was more than it paid for all the SA acquisition's. Not only has it paid down the debt it's buying back it's own shares. As I have said patience is required to get the real gains. No doubt the trolls on here are working for a hedge fund or a potential buyer.
