Malvern International PLC - Milton Keynes, England-based English language learning and skills development company - Says "significant improvement" in student numbers and business pipeline during first half. Revenue in six months to June 30 up roughly 60% year-on-year. "The company is seeing the benefits of its strategic investment over the last two years in its brand, sales and marketing, management team, processes, partnerships, products and student offering. The board believes Malvern is in a strong position to grow its market share for the remainder of 2022 and beyond. Pre-booked and delivered revenues for H2 2022 are showing a three-fold increase on H2 2021 and are ahead of like-for-like pre-pandemic levels of H2 2019. Pre-bookings indicate that the group can expect further growth in revenues in 2023," Malvern says.

Rockwood Strategic PLC - London-based investor in smaller UK public companies formerly known as Rockwood Realisation PLC - Plans to apply to move to Premium Segment of Main Market and cancel AIM listing. Move is part of plan to "improve the tax efficiency of the company as expediently as possible".

Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust PLC - investor in UK mid-market management buyouts - Says Dunedin Buyout Fund II LP enters into deal to realise investment in RED, a provider of SAP contract and permanent staff. Investment in RED was valued at GBP23.7 million as at June 30. "Following funding and regulatory approvals being received the Board intends to announce a distribution to shareholders," company adds.

Rural Broadband Solutions PLC - Isle of Man, UK-based broadband provider - Says Stiperstones and Woolston, both in Shropshire, are first locations for fibre-to-the-premises technology roll out. "The investment in this area of the county will also include the surrounding villages of Habberley and Cardington by the middle of September," Rural Broadband says.

Guild Esports PLC - London-based e-sports company - Renews existing sponsorship agreement with Samsung Electronics Co, as well penning new one. "The new sponsorship deal concerns Samsung's TV/AV division and appoints it as the company's Official TV partner for the UK and Ireland for a one-year period with immediate effect. Samsung will supply Neo QLED TVs for Guild's Academy, pro-players and content streamers, along with televisions for rooms in the company's London headquarters," Guild says. An existing deal has been extended by another year. That deal was announced back in June 2021 and saw Samsung become an official display partner. "The combined value of the two deals amounts to six figures in pounds sterling, of which over 75% will be payable in GBP and the remainder as value in kind for which Samsung will be providing its state-of-the-art products," Guild adds.

MGC Pharmaceuticals Ltd - Perth, Australia-based medicinal cannabis company - Drawn new financing tranche worth USD750,000, part of USD10 million facility with Mercer Street Global Opportunity Fund LLC. Will issue Mercer 825,000 convertible notes, with a face value of USD1.00 each. "MGC Pharma is in the process of completing the operational commissioning phase for the facility, and will shortly commence the audit to be certified as a fully compliant EU GMP manufacturing plant for all MGC Pharma's phytomedicine products," it says.

Benchmark Holdings PLC - Sheffield, England-based aquaculture genetics, health and nutrition company - Revenue in third quarter ended June 30 up 28% year-on-year at GBP36.3 million. "Genetics delivered an excellent performance with revenues 50% above Q3 FY21 driven primarily by higher sales of salmon eggs and harvest revenues. Q3 YTD FY22 revenues up 29%," Benchmark says. Says trading in line with full-year expectations. Quarterly pretax loss widens to GBP11.2 million from GBP2.7 million.

Amaroq Minerals Ltd - Greenland-focused gold mining company - Net loss in first half of 2022 widens to CAD10.5 million from CAD7.9 million. "Our field season for 2022 is well underway and we are making solid progress with our drilling programmes at Nalunaq, Vagar Ridge and Sava. We expect to share the results from this programme with the market in late Q3 to Q4," Chief Executive Eldur Olafsson. The company was formerly known as AEX Gold Inc.

Great Western Mining Corp PLC - Nevada-focused gold, silver and copper project developer - Says processing joint-venture at Mineral County, Nevada "making good progress". "A project manager has been appointed and the first stage design of a processing mill for secondary recovery of gold and silver from mining waste is now complete and will shortly be reviewed by an independent engineer prior to formal sign-off. The initial phase of the project will consist of gravity separation, followed by a contained leaching operation for tailings," Great Western says. Has completed twenty four holes drill programme and results to begin arriving in September. "The company's next phase of exploration and development will be planned around these results," Great Western adds. Says a land reclamation programme covering Rock House group, Black Mountain group and Olympic gold project completed this month.

Zephyr Energy PLC - oil & gas exploration and development in US Rocky Mountains - Adds acreage at Paradox Basin, Utah. Says 1,920 acres added. "By adding the new acreage, the lateral for the proposed State 36-2 LNW-CC can be fully completed across a 10,000-foot lateral length, subject to final regulatory approval. This is expected to further enhance the well's forecast economics and estimated ultimate recovery," Zephyr says. Adds it is preparing for extended production testing of State 16-2 LN-CC well. "All relevant applications have been filed and orders for long lead time items have been made in anticipation of recommencement of production operations this autumn, subject to final permit approval," company says.
