EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Vistry COO exits in revamp; Ebiquity picks new CEO

Wed, 20th Nov 2024 12:49

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced this week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Vistry Group PLC - Kent, England-based housebuilder - Chief Operating Officer Earl Sibley will leave Vistry at the end of December following the removal of the role of COO. Sibley has been with Vistry since April 2015. Vistry says the reorganisation "reduces the length of reporting lines and ensures closer proximity of the CEO to the business". Greg Fitzgerald is the executive chair & chief executive officer of Vistry.

----------

Ebiquity PLC - London-based media spend analysis for advertisers - CEO Nick Waters steps down from the board immediately "to pursue other career opportunities", returning to the ad agency sector. Waters will remain global president until the end of January for a handover. Ebiquity promotes Ruben Schreurs to the board as CEO, effective from Tuesday. Schreurs was previously chief strategy officer and chief product officer, having joined Ebiquity in 2020. At the end of September, Ebiquity reported a swing to loss in the first half of its financial year, as large clients continued to reduce their budgets.

----------

Xaar PLC - Cambridge, England-based inkjet printing technology - Ian Tichias resigns immediately as chief financial officer & executive director "to pursue other opportunities". Xaar hires Paul James to be interim CFO & executive director, as it starts a search for a permanent successor. James was CFO of Biffa PLC until this past October. The waste management company, a former London listing, was taken over by private equity early in 2023. Prior to Biffa, James was for five years CFO of Genuit Group PLC, a FTSE 250-listed provider of building water, climate and ventilation systems.

----------

Pennant International Group PLC - Cheltenham, England-based systems support, technical services and training - Interim CFO Darren Wiggins joins the Pennant board as permanent CFO, effective Wednesday. Wiggins has been interim CFO since September. He previously worked at Meggitt Aerospace and Melrose Industries PLC.

----------

Inqo Investments Ltd - South Africa-based investor in businesses that tackle poverty and environmental challenges in sub-Saharan Africa - Names Robyn Steyn as CFO. Steyn is a chartered accountant who has been a consultant to Inqo for the past five years.

----------

Tap Global Group PLC - Gibraltar-based provider of app to store cryptocurrency and make payments - Names Peter Wall as non-executive chair, starting on Monday. Wall had joined Tap Global on Friday last week as a strategic adviser ahead due diligence checks. He is the former CEO of Argo Blockchain PLC, which is listed in London and New York.
