Taylor Maritime Investments Ltd - Guernsey-based vessel investment company - At March 31, reports a fleet of 31 vessels with a total market value of USD546 million. Pretax profit stands at GBP253 million for the year. The company's net asset value per share is USD1.74, giving a total NAV return of 81.3%. Taylor Maritime says this was driven by operating profit, increased vessel values and an "attractive" gain on the Grindrod Shipping investment. Looking forward, the firm expects demand in China to rebound and remains optimistic about its Handysize segment.
