(Alliance News) - Maintel Holdings PLC said Friday that Chief Financial Officer Mark Townsend has revoked his resignation and will remain with the company.
Townsend, who will also remain on the company's board, said in March that he will step down from his role with the communications services provider for personal reasons, starting a six-month notice period.
As a result of his re-appointment, Townsend has been allotted 14,591 new shares priced at 0.01 pence each, so he now has a 0.11% stake in the company.
Should he remain with the firm until April 2020, he will be issued with 10,000 more in April.
Chair John Booth said: "We are delighted that Mark has decided to continue with his role as Chief Financial Officer. Given his in-depth knowledge of the Company, we are pleased that he will continue to work alongside management and that the Company as a whole will benefit from his experience and expertise."
Shares in Maintel were up 0.7% at 449.00 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
