HOUSTON, Sept 19 (Reuters) - BP Plc's 413,500-barrel-per-day (bpd) Whiting, Indiana, refinery beganshutting down the largest of three crude distillation units andthe largest of two gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic crackingunits on Monday, according to sources familiar with plantoperations.
Energy industry intelligence service Genscape said the110,000-bpd FCCU 500 began shutting down on Monday morning andthe 290,000-bpd Pipestill 12 CDU began shutting down on Mondayafternoon. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Sandra Maler)
