I played the PGA back in the 90s in a Marie Curie final after regional qualifying. I'd never played on fairways that were cut so tight and after adapting found a new level of ball control.
Unfortunately I'm having problems with my hips atm and it's a month recovery between rounds so until I can get them sorted I'm unable to commit to such an event that I would really look forward to.
In my youth I remember the Belfry complex as one huge potato field.

good old Seve he was really something else.

I played a course on the Costa del Sol that he designed....Alhaurin Golf which is very tight and lots of elevated tees can't imagine he ever played it.

There's also the O'Connor 2 iron into the 18th on the Brabazon I believe they have a plaque to honour it.

@dryland - no haven't played either. But I recall with glee the Ryder cups from the eighties and I fancy a dig at the 10th a la Seve (my golf Hero).

Sounds fun. I've just started playing this year -- so perhaps maybe next year when I'm a bit more practised!

Ophidian, go on ebay and search golf vouchers. There is one for the Brabazon on there.
