Good to see the buybacks continuing at 175p, with another 25,000 purchased:

Nice to see some upside
Moving up nicely.
Hopefully some good read across from today’s quixant results. Their outlook and current trading for 2022 sounded very bullish to me.

More detail here - I particularly like "CryptoTouch® with Zytronic touch screens have already been successfully used together in ATMs for a European bank":

"Zytronic improves touchscreens with Cryptera security solution
March 29, 2022
Zytronic Displays Ltd. has introduced a more secure version of its touchscreens that supports PIN entry applications available through its development partner, Cryptera, according to a press release.
Cryptera's CryptoTouch PIN-on-Glass products recently attained international level 5 certification from the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. The PCI 5.x approval covers 12 customizable touchscreen sizes, ranging from 5 to 27 inches.
The CryptoTouch solution is approved for offline and online transactions and can be combined with a secure card reader and an NFC reader for contactless payments. The technology enables authenticated payments to be handled entirely via the touchscreen without the need for a separate mechanical encrypting PIN pad.
Uses include self-service payment applications such as ATMs, financial kiosks, forecourt payment, parking, ticketing and quick-service restaurants.
All modules hold PCI 5.x certification and both card readers are EMV approved and hold international card scheme approvals."
Another 100,000 bought back announced last night, at 157.5p.
I make that around 700,000 so far - 6.1% of the total shares in issue at the start of the buyback. I never thought they'd be able to get hold of so many!
It'll make a very nice difference to the EPS calculations going forward.
Looks like ZYT have been tipped by Malcolm Stacey this morning (subscriber-only):
"I'm with Steve and Tom, Zytronic Is Set to Touch a Glittering Future.
By Malcolm Stacey | Wednesday 23 March 2022
Hello Share Shufflers. Uncle Tom and Steve write appreciably about the touch sensor king Zytronic (ZYT). And I thought I’d like to support their enthusiasm. In an age when many more of us rely on digital gizmos, there can be little doubt that touch screens are more and more essential to those folks seeking an easier life
etc"
Think a lot of shares are held by market makers
Another 125,000 shares bought back at 152.5p:
Hard to believe given ZYT's prospects, microcap size and illiquidity that there are still such large sellers left. There can't be many more after the 100k bought back on Friday too.
"Zytronic provides tactile solution for kiosks and displays
March 2, 2022
Innolux, a Taiwan based display manufacturer, engaged Zytronic PLC to achieve a tactile solution for its rugged touch displays designed for self-service kiosks and other public displays, according to a press release.
The Innolux concept incorporates a 13-inch customized ZyBrid multitouch sensor with precision-engineered 3D surface features machined in the 4mm thick toughened glass to guide the user's fingertips to the appropriate position on the screen. Zytronic's ZXY50 controller delivers the multitouch functionality and supports complex gestures, including contactless "hover" touch plus palm rejection, high noise immunity and millisecond fast speed of operation.
On the surface of the touchscreen, using its 5-axis computer numeric controlled glass machining equipment, Zytronic machined precise, "dimples," grooves and a dial into the glass. Precision machining the tactile finger guides into the glass surface, rather than drilling through and mounting physical dials, buttons and sliders, made it easier to create a waterproof, hygienic user interface with fewer exposed moving parts."
Finally called time on this stock, I wish you all well for the future, just bored with it after five years of holding.
Smacks of panic to me. These announcements are ordinarily made at 7.00 a.m, and not at 4.15 in the afternoon. Perhaps the BoD have fallen for the charms of the snake oil salesmen in the City.
Couldnt be more delighted. I may be way down but at least I feel the board are doing their best for us ´stakeholders´ in difficult times. I struggle to believe that the prediction of lower revenue in future, as detailed in the last update, will come to pass. Rabbit and Hat springs to mind. Was going to sell out but Ím sticking with it. GLA.
Singer is now a potential buyer of 1.7M shares in the open market during the next 12 months. That should put a handy floor on the price which has been sold down below net asset values lately. I hope the company issues an upbeat trading bulletin at the AGM on 3rd March as well.
Getting harder to keep the faith here. Fundamentals still seem great though, just needs a catalyst, but how long can we wait for it!
More positive news. sp looks far short of true worth.
A small tech company that attracts overseas buyers of its products, but not UK buyers. Tells you all you need to know about head in the sands British management generally.
Looks like some profit taking to-day. Otherwise all good news.
It looks as though investors in the know got up at dawn today to swoop. Happy days.
And yes Zytronic after the stock spike became my largest position!
Used to be 2nd largest, then Creightons (CRL) skyrocketed and took the lead, but trimmed some.
Now Zytronic on top of BT Group and Creightons
Congrats to all who were patient! Hopefully they can maintain the momentum in sales. If they do, given much fewer shares in issue, could easily double from here over the next 12 months.
I believe that Zytronic is one of the most undervalued stocks on LSE.
I have uploaded a video with my 5 biggest positions. The other 4 have moved towards fair value. Zytronic is still super cheap.
