There’s a difference between going into production and producing lithium in a test. They have produced very pure lithium carbonate. They will go into production in a couple of years, the timing will largely be dependent on li prices I’m sure, but I wouldn’t be concerned about their ability to get there with their backers, it will of course help Znwd, with shared processes and technology. The future is bright.
Thanks Twohits - but EMH isn’t set to produce anything for a couple of years (allegedly/hopefully). DFS there delay until this quarter (allegedly) - some view that might be delayed yet again.
Somehow there’s a plodding approach to the European resources… (maybe there’s more red tape here - or they’re holding out for EU funding…) but let’s hope it’s all part of their master plans to start producing when when the Li price has recovered!
Hi Mr C. If I'm honest I think we had a lucky escape with that 'dodgy deal', look at the Ganfeng share price since the end of 2021 I think we might have been wiped out at Bacanora.
Search for: Ganfeng lithium's Concessions still in dispute
Yes it is, they’ve produced 99.99% pure Lithium Carbonate in their tests. Strategic partnerships with the EIT and CEZ. EUs largest hard rock project by a country mile, ZNWD is now second.
Twohits
“They have the same deposit over the border and it is commercial and produces very pure carbonate.”
I missed who you’re referring to that’s across the border and producing?
Is that EMH? which is a couple of years away from producing (allegedly)
Irish - Bacanora owned part of this and BCN shareholders (like me) were given ZNWD shares as part of the dodgy Ganfeng deal that was done....
Irish thanks and may your team do well in the 6 nations!
Yes and these grades are commercial.
Thanks for the geography lesson, i’ve been to the savannah site in Portugal, i would wager you haven’t. It is a tiny resource. There aren’t really any other significant resources in europe other than the other side of the border for this (Czech republic according to my map, been there too). The point of mentioning bacanora (haven’t been there thank god), South America and Africa in general is that’s where some of the other significant resources are.
Keep up pal.
Grade ie everything when it comes to processing costs, waste generation and profitability and quite what Bacanora has to do with any of this is beyond me. Savannah are in Portugal not Africa. Get your globe or map out !!
And the price will be 50p.
These guys have proper equity partners, they are not going to go down some convert loan death spiral financing, which is what takes out so many AIM companies.
That’s just not true. They have the same deposit over the border and it is commercial and produces very pure carbonate. Sav’s grades are higher yes, but its resource is tiny, about 8% of this.
This asset is in the same area as the OEMs in saxony, not some hellhole in Africa or South America. You cannot just compare the grades. Bacanora is in a province controlled by organised crime lords. I couldn’t care how high their grades are, it’s uninvestable.
When there is a clear path to production, most noticeably financing without astronomic high interest debt (meaning that the company shareholders are likely to be wiped out because the company fails to service the debt, how many times has that happened with AIM) or eye watering equity dilution (how do you raise c.£300m when your MC is £30 even after this weeks rise) then I will fill my boots and buy. Provided Lithium price stops falling before there is no gross profit of course.
I will concede that money will probably be made here, unless advances in technology makes Lithium less attractive in other than the short term, but I am far from sure that the current crop of shareholders will be recipients.
Very simple really. The resource tonnage has increased dramatically but the grade is poor and barely commercial. Compare it with Savannah for instance - 50% of the average head grade for their Portuguese asset. Plus , of course, lithium is as popular as dog s---.
What are the real risks here? Safe jrisdiction and certain demand - is it mining costs? worries about ev take up? I dont understand why this has not powered ahead - is it the green german lobby dont like mine- would rather have russian gas maybe?
Alan totally agree.
Should be well into double figures now
Yep agreed - clear out the traders and the small free float will send this powering forward, not enough shares!
With such a blue chip client on board and a 400% increase in KNOWN resources in a safe mining location this is the perfect storm. Tiny free float is the problem for the little guy here but those who can actually buy some will enjoy a generous return in time.
I like the look of this one!
Someone or a large number of somebodies must have been selling at a substantial loss, because that level of volume should have pushed the SP up substantially further. 28m shares traded yesterday. The previous record was 19m on 28th April 2020, the share price increased by 62% on that day. It might have still been Erris Resources (Exploration) PLC back then.
I agree Mr C but it was nice to get a bit of attention yesterday. My concern is where the c.35m shares have come from over the last couple of days.
GM:
You'd like to think that both the MRE and BFS have been worked on concurrently with regular updates being provided by each team. Either way, in the Oct 23 operational update the Zinnwald team were well aware of the imminent resource upgrade held within the new MRE. They confirmed that the BFS was still dues in early H1 2024. This would have been the right time to say, we expect the MRE to materially change the BFS, therefore the BFS will be delayed until (date TBC). This statement would have been ok given the substantial change in the MRE resource conclusions. AMG have owned 25% of Zinnweld for nearly a year now, they are a class operator and I expect them to substantially support the financial output of the BFS. Hence, I don't think that they will allow a substantial delay to the BFS. AMG mine lithium in Brazil and they will be mining lithium in Germany with Zinnwald. You've heard it here first GLA.
these ****roaches come out of the woodwork in pairs or trios ramping away and slapping one another on the back for all comments etc --- happening all across aim sadly !
I'm a long term bull on ZNWD but deeply sceptical that they're going to deliver the BFS on schedule. If nothing else, the new MRE is going to mean a lot of parameters get changed. For the better, but that's got to take time.
This P&D fake as chinese rip-off Openhike.

In the meantime it will settle back down and the Johnny-come-latetlys will have moved on to pump something else.
