Yes, all company brokers will put out research notes on their clients. We will get the redacted walbrook version.
"We all know our value is greater than 17p, it just been surpressed, so was it a good deal. Its just allowed the iis and management to get more of the company at cheap as chips prices."
By the same logic, it also allows PIs to do same ... whether you or anyone else chooses to do so or not is a different question.
Well someone got the un-redacted version from Stifel last year and sent it to BB members if they asked ... I'll have to dig around to find out who got it!
Yes, their will always be some with the patience of a saint, but there are others who's circumstances won't allow for years of waiting.
They came to Ygen seeing a company growing fantastically with a pipeline of good news and innovation. They therefore expected the SP woiuld track this growth allowing them to exit according thier investing needs.
It's to the benefit of everyone to see a steadily appreciating SP. Not what we have now.
The difference is they are privvy to info we are not to make that decision.
We are all investors wether its 100 quid or 10 mill and should have the same info.
While I'm not so naive to think that will ever happen in any company, the level to which we have been deprived of even low level intelligence is shocking and its been going on for months if not years by some accounts.
FFS, this constant drone of conspiracy theories, hard done by attitude and and downbeat chatter has to stop. If you seriously think this way, do us all a favour, sell up and move on.
This company is in great shape. Be confident, be patient and rewards will almost certainly come your way with YGEN. I could not be happier as a holder and the SP will rise in time
If your happy hogarth then that's fine. It's a BB for all not just flag bearers.
Burying your head in the sand is fine, but if there is something I'm not happy with I'll call it out, on here, at the AGM, down my local tesco express if I so wish.
If you went to a restaurant and had an expensive meal, and most of it was OK but your steak was overcooked and you asked for medium rare, would you say something. Or just accept that most of it was OK so you will let it slide.
Well I'm not happy with most being OK, I want it all to be OK, and given the bit of Ygen that isn't OK imv is directly impacting PI's then I'll say so.
Nothing said on here will impact the SP of Ygen. Somebody could come a buy a million shares and someone could come and sell a million, and it wouldn't impact the SP. Its happened. We've had. Massive sells and massive buys and it hasn't budged, except a penny or so either way.
The only thing that will change that is what LR does and what he tells us and how he tells us, not what is said on here.
If you don't believe BB's can affect the share price, how do you explain all the pump n dumps on ****ty shares?
Yes exactly my point, but it doesn't apply to Ygen. Precisely because of what most have been saying.
Big buys don't move it. Big sells don't move it. She'd loads positive rns don't move it. Broker rerate don't move it. Acquisitions dont move it. Placings dont move it.
Get my drift.
Any other share I have been involved in would have reacted to at least some of that. And all the flag bearers on here, keep saying wait till the next rns, wait till the next approval, wait till the 3 month covid update, wait till the half yearlies.
It's staring everyone in the face. It's being manipulated.
.. and who is selling at the moment to suppress any price rise? Is it insiders or the institutions - those who know so much more than us PI's? Nope ...
Or is it impatient PI's creating a self-fulfilling prophecy of doom and gloom?!
I'll caveat that I don't think communication has been perfect, and that we should have had visibility of revenue that has occurred such as the Novacyt test component supply and indications of lab service uptake, however, I 'm not convinced that finger in the air figures for future Covid revenue will help much ... If he gets it wrong and overestimates, the SP will get destroyed ...
I have to agree with this statement to some extent.. The price is doing nothing.
For perspective maybe look at the one year chart? This time last year the SP was under 12p. Doesn’t seem that bad to me. If short term traders don’t like it and move on, fine by me. I will take solid fundamentals, massive potential and slow and steady share price appreciation any day over sharp swings pounced on by day traders.
It looks to me like the bigger trades are mostly buys from smart money buying up all the smaller sells from bored traders etc
Possibly the sp is being held, or ‘manipulated’ to allow the big boys to buy at the level they want, but if so that is just the name of the game imo and as I said in an earlier post, sooner or later the big guys will want their profit and the patient small guys will get theirs when they do.
Good point Ctw. How on earth do we expect to be satisficed with a measly 50%+ SP rise in 12 months?!! The conspiracy theorists are obviously right about the company refusing to let the price rise any further - It's blindingly obvious!!! The II's are keeping the price low to buy loads and short change the PI's!! I DON'T think.
