Full steam ahead!
I’m liking the look of that vein mineralisation. Considering the angle of the hole aswell, it seems to have done alright with 3 potentially economic intercepts.
Hole 2 still on going is a positive aswell. Glad to know that they’ll be reporting in a similar fashion to the last drill phase aswell.
The second photo of the core show it looking very dark? Is this because it's wet or is it like alkanes core samples which were very dark too. Possible connection in mineralization?
Anyone hazard a guess?
Am I correct in saying that those veins will be very high content?
120 metres of well-developed copper mineralisation just from first drill hole. Two others ongoing. This resource looking HUGE
Good RNS. Improving the open pit potential.
I wonder what the story is with 007 - presumably started first?
Thank you Mr Bird - photos are appreciated!
Looks like the first two drills are those into the high grade deposit shown centrally in the screen at about 15min into the presentation - they both show two drills from the same plate in the diagram, so this first shallower drill is the shorter one in the diagram, skimming over the top margin of the deposit. Looks like drill 3 will be a longer drill down through the core of the deposit - possibly to test the depth?
Looks to be a good start to me - it will be interesting to see if the second drill gives a similar result, it should do if the model is accurate...
Hi CE,
They do like like the most likely candidates but I'm not convinced the drill in the presentation would be counted as toward the North East?
Hi Ella,
I think it has to do with orientation of the 3d model.
If you freeze the presentation at 21.24 I think you can see that the drill lines are pretty well pointing North East?
Thanks CE,
You're probably right I hadn't considered that. Will have another look later.
So, I don't have the knowledge that others have here of geology/mining etc, but given what the team said in the presentation and their obvious expectation of this site being much bigger than the figures used in the lastest financial model, I like the sound of that 'as anticipated'. I would be happy to see this phrase used repeatedly in the next little while. Let's hope any 'surprises' are on the positive sides. I notice the market doesn't seem to have noticed yet, but after two top-up I have reached the limit I would want to invest in a 'speculative' share.
I would certainly agree that the use of the phrase "as anticipated" is very positive when referring to the modelled area as it endorses the accuracy of the model.
Once we start drilling in uncharted territory I will be happy with "far exceeded our expectations" lol.
Wondering when the Reddit/Twitter rampers will catch on to thus....
The drill doesn't seem to be spinning as fast as during phase 1, so it's going to be a slow striptease. Nice copper mineralisation on show in those cores though... can't wait to see this babe in all her glory.
Steve, just as well we got 2 then :)
I sometimes think that we need to have pictures of solid gold cores, complete with assay stamp, to get some more interest in the market !! :)
2nd Stage Drilling, XTR Racecourse, NSW, Oz RNS, Wed 29 July 2021:
3 cores shown.
I like the latter two.
Don't know Steve.... Drill 007 is still going.... doesn't necessarily mean it is slower..... might mean its still deep in mineralisation.
fingers crossed.
It all looks good doesn't it :)
I think its important to remember that ALL these drills are about adding tonnage, and certainly the first round of the second phase are all in the open pit. So any drill that finds more than 100m of good grade copper is adding considerable tonnage.
Can't wait for the assays but the drills themselves are spinning nicely.
Do we know which structures the historically drilled richer gold zones were associated with ? I guess they were found by the earlier co's drilling so we as shareholders will not have seen ?
I have no idea what I'm talking about (as usual) but I've just had a look at some images of Boda core and I've decided the core photos in our RNS don't look too bad at all. Obviously these are likely to be the higher grade areas. So what is the red writing in the second image 'drill fail ?
