Ryanair are always in a price war, nothing new there. The market is very competitive, securing valuable slots is the key. Massively overreaction in the SP
This is fresh rating from JPMorgan , they just taking it lower everytime they do their update.
JPMorgan cuts Wizz Air price target to 2,150 (2,250) pence - 'neutral'
Shorts have actually retreated marginally in the past few days. Check it out buddy.
Yup - the one and only graces us with his presence once more.
Overdone dive across the board for airline shares yesterday, top-up time. At these prices it would be rude not to! All imho.
DavidKov ?
SHORT SELLERS STARTED TO increase positions as well.
Be careful what you wish for! This sort of price war decimates balance sheets and WIZZ seems precarious. I was long until the balance sheet was broken down and pointed out. If the bottom line is hit then so is the ability to repay debt mountain. Could really fall from here.
1400? I wish , double bagger guaranteed then
RYANIAR KICKED OFF A SUMMER PRICE WAR. ONE THING THE CITY HATES IS COMPETITION AND A PRICE WAR. THESE WILL HEAD BACK TO YEAR LOWS TOWARDS 1400p.
PRICE WAR
UKRAINE WAR
MIDDLE EAST WAR
NGHTMARE FOR AIRLINES.
Horrible drop in the auction

compared to the prices rises from May 2020 to May 2022... yes... it probably is flattening out
It looks like its more to do with O'leary over at Ryan Airways.

Do you think this is what caused the sudden fall...

Its 7 hours old... what happened in the last 15 minutes ?
I was wondering why some airline shares have tumbled in the last few hours.
More bad news from Boeing is I think why plus the uncertainty with Israel/Gaza situation.
WIZZ shares may rockect soon??????????
I mean BLAST OFF??

with so much stock held by Institutional investors... does it not suggest the shorts are quite likely to be a hedge...?
Going from a c350M loss to a c350M profit in 1 year is mindboggling
the fact the sp was about 40% higher when we were making that 350M loss is also mindboggling
Impressive results. most companies could only dream of being as good. should see a surge in price
I'm not sure what was puzzling.............the shorts were expecting Wizz to miss full year guidance. I did as well to be fair, hence was I was disappointed not to sell at 2400. However, with FY results in line and 25 outlook appearing even more promising, I can't see shorts staying in play, particularly with Israel conflict calming down. This could very quickly rise to £3 over the coming weeks
Wizz always puzzles me! Had a limit set at 1950 after the update but the market decided otherwise!!
Just shows what i know , great reaction after all
They are still fling to Israel - Yield on this route will be better as Easy Jet has suspended flights to Israel !
The market likes the results at the moment I like the bit about paying down the debt but still no news on when the planes with engine problems will be back in service
Im not tok confident of a bounce back , sounds pretty flat to me
