Aviva has three times as many shares in issue that’s why the share price is less. So not like for like comparison is it
Aviva also pays a healthy dividend of over £1 billion a year. You couldnt make it up. Wise - WISE UP!
The valuation is absolutely NUTS! £30 million profit and its been operating for the best part of a decade. Aviva makes x 100 that profit and yet its share price is less than half. Yes - on a good year and its had many of those, it makes £3,000,000,000. Investors in fintech will get a big wake up. There is nothing in Wise to give it more than a billion valuation
Nuri I can agree that the company is not really re-inventing the wheel, their source of revenue is based on the big numbers of people that need to save money moving it to their home country, the more the better, and I can see that number can only go up, especially after Brexit. Also, their balance sheet is rock solid. However, their business model is not super innovative so that might suffer from aggressive competitors in the long term.. so I think it's a good stock, by the looks of it it can easily become a blue chip, so small increases but steady. Probably not super exciting for traders.
Anyway this morning I tried again to enter at 850p and still couldn't..and now we're above 900..
I think it might be lower thany the price i was loking for to day

Hi I was going to buy in this morning at 11.00am @ 7.98 – 8.00
but decided to wait there could be more selling later on to day
Looking in at 7.80 pos no rush
Well I'm with you Jotay, saved me loads over the last 3 years so more than happy to invest a bit. Good luck to them.
Worse investment IMO than deliveroo
Probably not worth £1. I would classify it as investor junk status .... but up to you the investors.
I use Wise for money transfer. I wouldn't touch their shares though. This company is severely overvalued - its real worth is about £1 a share. It makes £30 million profit on turnover of 450 million. It's valued at roughly 250 times earnings.... Hope investors are smiling in the next few months when it plummets!!! Never understand investors piling into these overvalued companies.
I first used this company in August 2016 and have used them weekly and sometimes daily since then. I have waited since then for them to list. They have saved me a fortune over the 5 years and every transaction is seamless. My friend's daughter works for them and they seem to be a great company to work for.
Bought a pretty timid amount at £8.26, currently looking at an annual return of 2387% if the current rises keep up!!!
Should maybe have bought a few more, but tbh I was more thinking I'd end up having to average down. But it's a nice share I think and something people actually use.
i tried to purchase at 8.3 mark could not get a price.. again as said below bit apprehensive to buy at the moment

Do people think that it is a good idea to buy now?
Do people think that the price will rise or fall?
Are people on this chat going to wait?
Please share your valuable thoughts .
Many thanks.

Thank you very much much for sharing your experience.
I appreciate it.
I tried to buy at 800p but it didn't go through yet, super high volumes and now it's hovering around 830p..it's very volatile at the moment so I guess I'll cancel that and try to enter at mkt price.
Hi, Have you traded already or are you going to wait?
Many thanks
Just a little bit nervous to buy right away!
Looking forward to 11am -

The honour of the first post!
In my opinion, and from the info widely available online looks like this company is solid, the balance sheet is robust and in blavk and they don't need to raise capital.
I did see that some of the main investors were paid in shares so I would expect the auction to stay on the low as some these folks will want to cash in some
I guess we'll see at 11am, so I hope this is going ro be a nice ride
