I'm assuming all these sales are partly due to Harsh Sinha vesting of Restricted Stock Units (as per RNS)? and some PI's Friday profit taking?
got great buying in price

Check out the Advfn thread last night regarding mobility one tech pvt.
Rosewall - as I read it the asset disposal was in 2019. Things have moved on a bit since then. A new FY and all that… DYOR :)
2020 Unaudited revenue increased 45.6% to £246.7 million (2019: £169.4 million) mainly due to higher sales recorded in the Group's mobile phone prepaid airtime reload and bill payment business in Malaysia;
· Gross profit of £12.96 million (2019: £10.77 million);
· Profit before tax of £2.26 million (2019: £1.08 million);
· Profit after tax of £1.61 million (2019: £1.87 million, included gain on disposal of a subsidiary of £1.11 million);
· Cash and cash equivalents as at 31 December 2020 of £4.42 million (31 December 2019: £4.42 million);
MBO, once you take out the one time profit arising from asset disposal, again, it is nothing to shout home about.
With a market cap that is around 30% of Lloyds and a profit of one third of 1%, it is well over valued and I suspect that there will be a lot of PIs burnt in the not too distant future.
That said, I did set up an account a few weeks ago, one can never have too many bank accounts nowadays, and was very surprised how easy it was to set up (I usually have problems as I no longer have a passport). Once set up, I was surprised how very easy it is to use and the Jar facility is brilliant. I expect that I will become a fan of this company very quickly.
Sorry, Make that £38.10! If only haha.
If valued the same...
Novacyt would command a £351.00 share price. TEK would be £3.81.
No thank you, this should be a crime to value a business this high.
It's not a basket case.......just ridiculously overvalued and where is the Fintech.
This is a conventional payments company with margins cut to the bone.
Blatant plug but take a look at GST, Fintech payments company based on blockchain. Waiting for FCA API licence.
Not only does it have a market cap of 10 billion with just 30 million profit p/A
The real problem is they are doing absolute nothing unique they have big competition with world remit monzo menese etc.
The biggest worry for me the traditional banks in the UK now transferring currency only equates to less than 1%-2% of their operations if one of them decided to undercut wise than that ??is going to be a worry .
Doing just 1 operation of just transferring money in a very competitive market is very high risk for me.
Similarly I purchased a timid amount but sp is still rising. At least I can look forward to adding more when the rocket stabilises....otherwise happy days if sp keeps gaining momentum.
I guess more people will sign up to save money on bank charges and the balance sheet will get stronger.
Happy to hold long term.
Nuri - I can’t agree it’s a basket company but I do understand your frustration at the valuation. The next few weeks will be interesting. MBO looking good today.
Agree - horrendously overvalued. 50 pence far too high. this is a basket case company.
Just looking at the finances.
2021 2020 2019
Revenue 421m 302m 177m
Profit after
Expenses/tax 30.9m 15m 10m
These Analysts surely serve at times just one purpose to to make astrology creditable .
A market cap of 9.59 billion that's profit is merely 30million If this was 50 pence I'd stay clear sadly when the hype is over it's going end badly this one .
Bought in at 870. Very happy with that. Looking to make 15-20% profit and then scoot on out of here.
I also agree with the majority - the value is very bloated and seems to be based on the American model (valued on a story).
I will be waiting for a correction in the Share price to then come back in at a later date.
GLA - Lets see what tomorrow brings.
Nuri - it’s astonishing the amount of money that’s currently being traded in WISE. A minuscule fraction of the money would send MBO SP into the stratosphere :).
MBO has 106 million shares in issue and a very small float. Of course DYOR but the SP is roughly half of what it was several weeks ago.
The market is completely insane. Tiger2009 i might invest in MBO. But this share is in for an almighty crash. INSANE VALUATION! Probably worth 50 pence - if dven!!!!!!
WISE valued at £8000 million
£20m profit
MBO valued at £25 million
£2m profit
Bonkers!
Got in at 892 eventually
let's see how it plays out
GLA
"Investors are betting that Wise, which last year processed just over 2% of the global retail crossborder payments and 0.2% of the business segment, can keep taking more of this trillion-dollar market". Personally, I have been impressed and already used Wise for transfering money to buy a property abroad, a very smooth stress free (cheaper than a broker) process... Yes probably overvalued like was the like of Airbnb, Deliveroo... and they could see the competition from Paypal in the future, but innovative enough for me and profitable since 2017...
