As many have said here, debt, geopolitical situation, oil price, inflation, lack of divis etc.. it's all logical, yes, BUT I don't think any of these are good reasons for IAG to be stuck in limbo like this.
I think it's more because there's no strategy, no vision and Senor Gallego clearly tries to keep it afloat with smoke and mirrors (ie 7bn revamp). Numbers clearly show people want to travel no matter what. It's just IAG it's not there to properly reap sentiment and take their cash.
Results should be way better than that: in the last couple of quarters they just showed that basically IAG companies can do their bare minimum job.
Markets price in for future development not current capacity. IAG needs a solid business strategy, drop Air Europa and TAP BS and re-focus on core business and slots/routes expansion. ONLY THEN, big investors will come back together with divis and solid growth.
