sadly i can see this one slipping alot further over time, its a shame.
I wonder if they're going to give Killingbeck the same deal as they did Compton when he was appointed and I wonder whether they'll just hide it in with some other news. "Paul Compton is to be granted 2,218,000 share options over ordinary shares on his appointment. The options will be granted at a price of 36.75p per share, being the closing mid-market price on 22 July 2010." What the heck, only 9% of the issued share capital of the company for doing the job that he's paid for. They did get rid before they had to do it though, so how long do you give Killingbeck? http://www.wh-ireland.co.uk/content/news/rns_archive/2010/23-07-10b.asp If he stays longer than Compton you'll no doubt be diluted by 9%, factor that into any decisions you make to buy or sell. If he doesn't make it to two years, it won't have been worth buying. The directors here will line their own pockets before they line yours IMO.
Guys, if any of you are cosalt shareholders and would like more info try www . Savecosalt . Com I hear it's a web site with lots info etc and due to lse being shutdown because mr Ross was getting annoyed about us talking about him, as he continues to say nothing and do everything what he likes!! I assume he crossed lse with some expensive rit, no doubt probably costing more than the money required to keep cosalt going. You see when your that rich, it's all about the name, making the name bigger and of course making soooo much more money to add.
Re your Cosalt query. I'm not a holder there but have you read their RNS from Thursday? Sounds like they are looking to sell of the business divisions but that they expect no value to shareholders. Good luck.
can anyone enlighten me to whats going on with cosalt, does it look like they will ever be unsuspended from trading
...so I'm in for a small flutter at 57p
WH Ireland has appointed Richard Killingbeck as Chief Executive Officer after receiving approval from the Financial Services Authority (FSA). The corporate broking and private wealth management company said Killingbeck has agreed to take on the role with immediate effect. Rupert Lowe, Chairman of WH Ireland commented: "I am delighted that, following FSA approval, Richard Killingbeck has agreed to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. "Richard brings significant financial sector experience to the company gained over the past 25 years and this experience will help WH Ireland as it continues to expand the business in the years ahead." Killingbeck been filling in since December's announcement that Paul Compton stepped down from the position. He started his career at Cazenove Partners in 1984 before joining Morgan Grenfell and holding management positions at Singer & Friedlander Investment Management, Close Brothers Asset Management and Credit Suisse. Killingbeck joined WH Ireland in 2012 to lead the private wealth management side of the business.
I think LSE is on very rocky ground with it removing certain comments. One might assume they are trying to influence the market with their actions.
It seems comments written before on this site have all gone, whilst I can understand if people get removed for swearing etc, I would be surprised if comments are removed because people have an opinion that is different or challenge of stakeholders!! Maybe, dependant on who you are comments can get removed, if this is due to poor information then one course of action could be to put this right by being open and honest, just a suggestion.
I feel that the business needs new direction and this might not come from the current board. At this time new options are available, areas where the businesses have good credit, not high or excessive interest rates and a good, solid willingness to interact with all stakeholders including shareholders. At this time I have this share as a strong sell ASAP, good luck.
i view WHI as a strong sell for reasons it seems im not allowed to print?!?!
What happened to the Cosalt thread? What happened to all the comments on here?
