Jax. If the merger goes ahead this should be seen as a good decision by the BOD .
There should be a quick uplift to the share price as there is no point in a merger if it is not perceived to be a benefit to both companies
80.5p
at some point short positions will be closed to avoid the risk of E& upping their stake
It will come to an end when the bod stop making bad decisions.
As i am sure most dedicated voders will agree this gradual drift downwards surely has to end sometime!
Roofer could you please put my very first prediction at79.9
Advocet. I agree, jax sounds like a typical disgruntled ex vod employee, he wants the sp to go up, but predicts it to go down. It's a kind of reverse, negative logic.
Jax as you claim to be long, but keep talking about the sp being crushed going forward, I would seriously suggest you sell. Would that not be the best move for you?
It's just silly to hold on to a share which you think will keep going much lower.
Do you enjoy loosing money maybe?
In case you missed our webinar with Vodafone Group Plc ($VOD), the presentation pack can be found on our website https://bit.ly/43ULVrR (Exclusive to ShareSoc Full Members)
Jax05, of course there's a chance you are right we will find out next Friday, but remember this is at a very low price right now much lower than i can ever remember or ever thought possible, I think most of us are thinking and hoping this is already priced in, we all know it's disappointing seeing a share dropping after you've bought in, but try and give it a chance and see where we are in 6 months time and maybe have a rethink about it then
My prediction is 80.5p
"Inflation stubborn will be catastrophic here"
That is clearly wrong, since Telecom companies can increase prices by the inflation rate at the very least, in the UK it's CPI+3.9% and the corporate debt interest is fixed. Jax if you're attempting to scare people out of the stock, you should find valid reason to put the frighteners on them and not events that justify raising prices and increasing Telecom company profits.
And what's this, "Debt / zero growth/ Germany / Debt"? Maybe you've watched one too many episodes of Catchphrase:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMs1xF6vL0U
With rates increasing I can see Vod crashing
Inflation stubborn will be catastrophic here
Debt / zero growth/ Germany / Debt
We need UAE
I hope not btw
I also hope I’ve got it wrong
Interesting, most people seem to have upped their predictions for next Friday, let's hope the majority of us have called it right, and jax05 has got it wrong
