Well we all know which direction Vod will be travelling today on no news
Skier...nothing beats BTs ridiculous decision to pull out of the mobile phone market as they saw no future in it. MM02 rules?
UBS Price target £1.05
The mismanagement here is quite staggering!
Vodafone bizarrely quits the high-profit US market...
Dives recklessly into the low-profit India market...
And is now vastly overpaying for the UK's (by far) worst mobile network...
VOD just stumbles from one clanger to the next.
There's a reason why the share price has collapsed an astonishing-80% this century... Wouldn't be a surprise now to see this fall under 50p before the end of the year... It's just one strategic disaster after another.
STOCK TAKE
Lorcan Allen: With its share price at its lowest level in 25 years, Vodafone may be a takeover target
In the last year alone, Vodafone’s share price has slumped almost 40 per cent in value, wiping almost €16 billion off the value of the company

Good evening Dan, I know exactly what you mean mate, i have just switched off from here for my own sanity
Will be glad to see this share finally finding it's bottom and starting to climb those ladders again, it's defiantly not a share for anyone of a nervous disposition
best of luck and stay strong and watch out for the snipers lol
Never liked Vod as an investment - always a divi darling, so always overpriced. But at 75p, I just had to buy a bucketfull.
Just noticed news imminent, maybe tomorrow, maybe over the weekend. Hope it helps draw a line under the SP. The big pension funds must be bloated @10% dividend. But who is selling when E&, Malone and Niel are also buying large holdings?

Broadsword calling Danny boy, is that you?
I just thought it would be nice to talk to someone on here who isn't a complete moron. Sorry, but this forum has hit the gutter.
They obviously had you pegged as a poor credit risk...
A 1946 Porsche was very slow! No re-rate there then!
'The Ten year/Two year bonds are inverted which likely means a recession.'
I always thought we would go into a recession or at least a managed slump. Thats why I always buy VOD. VOD brightens any shabby portfolio and families can really concentrate on those things that really matter. Better than that pink gunk which is only a passing fad imho
Unlikely in my opinion, this is not 2010 when he won 5 TT races.
The leg injury has definitely slowed him up, indeed the Isle of Man spinning leg flag looks very much like his leg.
Plus, I has it on good authority that he's with French mobile giant Orange and has a PAYG Nokia with plenty of credit.
So no, i don't think it will happen, Vodafone will not want to have a wild spinning leg hitting them in the face every time the share price dips below 60pence, plus the Ten year/Two year bonds are inverted which likely means a recession.
115p yes please ;-)
Barclays Reiteration £115.00
'anybody have an insight to what extent this will reduce Vod's debt level?'
This article suggest the total is $18.6Bn. At the start 3 was promoting c$5Bn as their share, so say joint $10Bn excluding debt.
That leave $8.6Bn debt split. $4Bn to $5Bn debt off VOD balance sheet is my guess.
Net debt reduces to c€29Bn, maybe?

😂 he’s a tenner up from shorting it to date.
Haha Porsche, probably one of the more ridiculous things I have read here today. Ex div means the Dosh has been set a side. Payment is a certainty.
" The company is in serious trouble" what are you actually talking about. Do you know how many accountants cleverer than you are monitoring the financial state of VOD?
You have issues. The main one is that you think your dross actually influences the sp.
It may have gone ex dividend but i think there is a better than 50/50 chance it never gets paid out….this company is in serious trouble….watch this space.
Jax, you promised us 50p today. 100% chance you said. What happened?? I had the limit set
The telco sector is down 3.6% today so VOD ex div not so bad relative to that
This is just another CNA, BT, TSCO and a multitude of other stocks that hit multi-year lows. The tide will turn, it’s just at what level.
Lots of money to be made if you can get the timing right.
'I am sure those who belive in Santa will still ramp this up as value.'
Santa the forex dealer. £ strengthening and VOD reports in €. That must be the div+forex today. I mean what else can it be when Rudolph the red nosed RNS just about to land?
Will we ever see £1 again?
