Over 9 cad now , used some in llg, so far the omi.tsxv @ 0.045cad worked out well, nibbling gbml.tsxv too, glad i didnt donate these to charity - a initial suggestion from barc on my preliminary enquiry of options upon the london delist. oil not exactly flavour of month but this is soooo solid, maybana asx on radar tonight, recaf on the pullback - soon, along with tpet too. eyeing sm energy on oil capitulation low if one comes perhaps c.12.5 even sub ten could come for main tranche - if opportunity come that is. This stock openned my eyes to foreign stocks stocks and shares isa possiblities and thousands more investment considerations - lots of work but ai = possible with time - c.full assesement - asx tsx tsxv cse nyse otc's. i saw this http://x.com/cashflow_king94/status/2013536990009118986 he has a point re isa - but my understanding is there are far more options round the world similar than he seems to suggest - what did suprise me was zero comment on the outcome - incentives make 50% or 20% then sell then do it again and again etc = aims issue, 2m cap to 4 and back and repeat is just too easy - i now see it happens far less elsewhere - fundemental issue imv - therefore combining isa account a foreign stock holding = optimal, when the conditions are right 2020/21 aim can change 5-10x and dump mentality - those time maybe coming axx/spx just poking above 200sma today i note axx/ukx v bullish movement 2026 so far and axx/iwm more embryoinc but good candle today confirming yesterdays bullish engulfing. all kind of ties in with reeves' moves re isa restriction and mutterings on tax on isa'd cash etc so who knows 2026 could actaully be a decent year. re watched this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwmOkaKh3-s as posted on 04/10/24 how apt for ai/robots these days ie exchange gatt for embodied ai = on steroids - slowly the masses are gotting it = need ownership - hard assets irreducable assets and run to scarcity - trump is even shouting it from the roof tops almost saying the quiet bit outloud - my post 29/03/23 seemed obvious then "other macro themes potentially soonish redefining the importance of existing capital relative to annual income" and "seems irreplaceable by tech and ai and increasing in demand (because of them in fact) but specifically copper and gold" too early = wrong tho - felt it for 4 year for sure, what happens @ tipping point of realisation - normally dive for liquidity = cash, treasuries & usd - maybe opposite this time - dive in to ownership? not there yet tho. "fixed" = one thing for one co but caveated up front for another - hard lesson 4me, looks good (hree grades=good= actautor torque required for the 'indenture executive branch') tho if the tonnage is there = great potential imo - https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@-26.8649963,15.7705058,1433m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDExOS4wIKXMDSoKLDEwMDc5MjA3MUgBUAM%3D shame about headstarters. atb anyone still holding from the london listing days.

Hi Everyone,
My shares are with Barclays, has anyone had an issue transferring their shares across to interactive investors? I am having real trouble, and it is becoming stressful.
Thanks in advance
Valeura now my sixth ever 10 bagger, been a near 3 year hiatus (04/01/21) for these in my accounts, very much welcome in present market, thats for sure. Sold minor percentage of holding today at 4.1CAD to lock in some actualised gains but like the way its looking and don't hold much other oil and gas - with crcl next largest related holding so sticking around to see if they look like getting up towards that 100k per day sometime next couple of yrs.
Stuck the proceeds into omi.tsxv at 0.045 (for my ref)

...more for me today, averaging up a bit.
Expected news of plans/developments by now and with the strength in natural gas price, likely reducing opportunity cost and recent ability to redeploy profit seemed like a good choice.
Had a bit of in out in at fog finally too (from first min after 8am on news - luckily saw the rns), aex av down - an increasing priority.
This winter good be a good time for the sector.

This has been my best share this last year but jarvis want 350 quid to transfer it to canada! Is that right? Bespoke quote. Feels like ransom.
I have these with II and can trade no problem, might have to complete an overseas trading form or something from memory but after that oll ok. Although no plans on selling ??
I won't know until I try, but I asked HL at the time whether I could transfer the shares over to them and they said they couldn't accommodate the transfer which is why I tried II at an earlier poster's suggestion. Also, I don't seem to be getting any definitive opinion on Canadian Tax liabilities on profits as a UK resident. Could be 25%, could be 15% or could be nothing depending on what you read. With II's tax person but no feedback after a few days, like I am the first UK resident to have traded Canadian shares ?!?
Are you absolutely sure II will still allow you to trade them? I have mine with HL and they transferred them to the Canadian equivalent VLE quite soon after they first suspended VLU but I still cant actually trade them I just still own them and can view in portfolio....they say there are no market makers that they use who will handle ..so still in limbo. Which is frustrating seeing as on a good run especially in last couple of days.
No breakdown of the time for each stage I am afraid, I just got notified when they were added to my account.

OK have just opened an account with II, and their estimate to transfer these over is 7 weeks in case anyone else is thinking of doing the same. Though whether it turns out to be as (relatively) straightforward as that remains to be seen as all online, and I had to select VLE and not the delisted VLU ticker. Time will tell I guess....
What are the implications if we don’t transfer the shares. I also hold share through Halifax and u fortunately being outside of UK, can’t open an account with any other brokers at the moment.
Thanks, will contact them to make sure they can do it. So much volatility on VLE TSX at the moment you could make a fortune!! 20-30+ cent ranges some days.....
Try ii – they show the Toronto listing and have a ‘Trade’ option on their page for the company:
https://www.ii.co.uk/shares/valeura-energy-inc/TSE:VLE
Has anyone actually bothered / tried this? Halifax who are my UK broker don't offer the facility to do this, and nor apparently to Hargreaves Lansdowne, so looks like I need to find a broker who can accept the UK shares from Halifax, and then do whatever they need to do to be able to buy / sell on TSX. Can't imagine VLU will be relisted on LSE anytime soon otherwise I might just hold out to avoid the aggravation.....

Announcement on 15th June
UK Listing Update
The Acquisition constitutes a reverse takeover for the purposes of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) and the Company has requested, in accordance with the Listing Rules, that the listing of the Company’s common shares (the “Shares”) on the standard segment of the Official List and trading in the Shares on the London Stock Exchange’s main market for listed securities should be cancelled with effect from 8:00 a.m. UK time on or about July 14, 2022.
The Company’s management continues to believe a listing on a London stock exchange will support Valeura’s long-term strategy and can provide greater access to international investors. Valeura intends to continue to evaluate the merits of re-listing in London and will update shareholders in due course.
Meanwhile, interests in the Shares purchased on the London Stock Exchange are fully fungible and can be transferred from the UK depositary to the Canadian depositary to be traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange, where the Shares continue to trade as usual. Shareholders interested in transferring their Shares should contact their broker or nominee to coordinate such a transaction with the Company’s registrar.
New asset looks strong - nice with the upgrade. Hope they get production online this year - and I wonder what that will do to the SP. I'm guessing x2 or maybe x3 from here. 1.5 CAD +/-
First time I have had shares suspended so forgive my ignorance... Do I need to do anything if I want to keep the shares and how long until these shares are unsuspended and free to trade on LSE approx.
Looks good and that turkey asset is huge if successful. Not sure why suspended or why not much more fervour on the boards.
Strong cash position, know what they are doing, gas outlook great. Assets ready to produce in Thailand from distressed seller.
Guessing it is probably because somebody transferred them to Toronto Exchange..
"Effect on London and Toronto listings
Following consultation with the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”), the Company has been advised that the Acquisition, should it close, will constitute a reverse takeover for the purposes of the Listing Rules of the FCA. Therefore, the Company was required to request a suspension of the listing of its common shares (“Common Shares”) on the ?standard segment of the Official List and trading in its Common Shares on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange has been suspended as of today.?
The Common Shares will continue to trade as normal on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Interests in the Company’s shares purchased on the London Stock Exchange are fully fungible and can be transferred from the UK depositary to the Canadian depositary to be traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Shareholders interested in transferring their shares should contact their broker or nominee to coordinate such a transaction with the Company’s registrar."
To who ever got the trade today in a suspended share.
Who is your broker?
Pumped for the restart.

It is suspended on LSE due to an acquisition.
https://stockhouse.com/news/press-releases/2022/04/28/valeura-energy-inc-announces-acquisition-of-gulf-of-thailand-assets
If Google is to be believed, and I have no reason not to believe it, VLE ended the day at CAD 0.60 yesterday which is approx 37.5 in UK money, but not a peep here...... looks like any good news hasn't yet made its way over the pond. Now that would be worth a punt for the Traders of you out there if trying to get in before the crowd with its current price :)

I bought in in Dec 19 after one of the biggish drops to the low 30s thinking it should bounce back within a year based on its cash position and potential. To say the performance has been underwhelming based on those 2 factors since then is an understatement. I think the truth is, while Guest is at the helm, despite talking a good game, has delivered very little so far and don't see that changing because why does he need to. No large shareholder on his case pushing for change / improvement. I smiled when some of the posters jumped on the slight rise Monday / yesterday thinking this was going to take off, and probably now realising they misjudged it. Its only stubborness that is keeping me in with an average of 30, but if it ever gets near 40 I am definitely out. If you look at Director buys 2 years ago, it was around this time that they bought some, so wouldn't be surprised if it was the same thing here. Or the company buying some as part of the compensation package whilst having delivered not much. Lets hope I get proven wrong in the very near future so my 40 target gets reached.
Trading sub cash
I’d say so
What does folks think about this . ? Is there room for more of a rise in the SP?
I have been looking for a while and I missed the recent jump

The most recent well operation is kept out of the presentation:
During the second quarter 2020 Valeura resumed production testing of the Devepinar-1 well in which the Kesan Formation had been previously stimulated at three depths between 4,640 and 4,765 metres. This zone flowed gas to surface over a cumulative total of 41 days, producing an aggregate 28.6 MMcf of natural gas, of which approximately 75% was produced into the Company’s infrastructure and sold to customers. The well’s average initial production rate over 30 days (IP-30) was 890 Mcf/d, and over the course of the test period, declined to approximately 170 Mcf/d for the final 7 days of flow. Testing and evaluation of this section in the well has now been completed and the well has since been shut in. Pressure build up data will now be acquired to assist in interpretation.

They sold their gas production out to Hannam last year at a big discount.
Equinor backed out two years ago after financing 3 deep wells. Fracking and long term testing gave disappointing results with hard decline and water fraction at 75%.
Explains no partners yet willing to pay 100% of cost.
Currently under the radar. Even valeura on tsx is ca.35p
Why is this so cheap compared to its peers?
mms let make a market please, hard to buy, keeps going NT.
trillion cubic feet of gas.
cash $40M and No Debt, this has to be the bargain share Right now
This should do really well, Russian gas is banned in Europe.

NT to buy. The only way youll get any share is through a fill or kill. Can currently sell full holding. Good day coming up chaps

cash $40M and No Debt, this has to be the bargain share Right now
If the SP doen't increase with the current price of gas , it's going to take something dramatic to ressurect this one.

With the current cash balances and the sale of the conventional gas business according to the results issued today will have cash reserves of 44 million dollars
With the market cap of 26 million seems to me to be grossly undervalued at far less than cash balances despite all the other assets
Great opportunity here imo.
Strong existing cash balance and further cash from asset sale to come in.
Farm out process underway and potential acquisitions to look forward to.

34p sell price on TSX now
I'm not sure. At 35 it was pricing in the deal so I guess got a bit ahead. I did sell a chunk I had in IG at that stage. Bought back today just under 30 (though I had kept the majority). Seems to be faring better today on the TSX. All depends on transaction completing I think.
Wow. So after the bullish sentiment of just over 2 weeks ago, the price has managed to be driven down to early December levels on not very much as far as I can see. Games or........???
It is me just bought £3400 . It is too cheap now just wait next update . Have more money than CAP and no debt. Only money in so why dont leave money on share and come bach some months to collect it with plus bags.
decent buying again today
19.61% up over there. Bit of catching up to do this side?
USD
Well presentation 3 weeks back he says 100m to 150m used mergers. So with a 30m cap I'd say there is plenty of head room here . Esp with 200k of PMDR open market. 1 month ago
Good summary Starbuck. I have a 23p average and it's my largest holding (was even at 23).
Probably the most obvious undervalued company on aim.
28m cap.
46m in cash and incoming deals of 100-150m USD .
Directors and PMDR dealing at 27p. For 200k GBP.
Q1 newsflow deals / merger .
Farm out 20tcf Thrace basin deep .
Gas is there but force closed rates from shallow condensate.
Was £2 and only 81m shares in issue with about half that in free float.
Hard to buy and huge gaps in chart up to £1.50 circa .
Going to be real interesting on news .

Q1. Tone of RNS’ and director buying suggests it’s a done deal, just my view though
When is the deal due to be settled
