Bin bell and put the 78% shareholders back in charge. But can we raise enough money and what are the prospects for the company?
Surly this whole restructuring should be stopped in its tracks, which gives the BOD time to readjust. How about a cash-call, with reservations in favour of the shareholders for a change.
I do quite a bit of research I apologies for that, I'm passionate about the way we have been treated, try and help honest investor with information held back from them, like the arrest held longer than I should, heads up to stedon for a push. Lot of guys down tens of thousands right now, except the lucky ones! Nothing I post is what investors want to hear including myself, but we are in a fix, agree with you see what tomorrow brings, hopefully JS will speak, we need something to support the sp after this bomb shell GL...
You are certainly determined to push through your point of view --good luck --see what tomorrow brings --coffee time
Look at PB company resignations since 18 March 2015 kinda gives us a further clue imo, someone said around 8 companies? Hope that JS has a plan in place or that public sector money is sufficient to carry on trading with existing pot of money?
No Smoke without Fire.
correct me if I am wrong But Im sure I read on another board that Mr Bell became a director 10/3/15 --only 8 days before action was taken so maybe he should be given the benefit of the doubt on this one
I'm sure the regulator has the power to make them abide by their rule or be thrown out.
Think the point is loser it makes no difference, bad media coverage can have catastrophic effect, this can be seen by the loss of sponsorship, guilty or not, made no difference, they lost it and will probably lose the other two IMO. We can also see the sp effect after Bells request when it hit the media. Definitely not over trading, look at the RNS dates and current news, compare with the graph which follows them.. The first drop was when PB made delist request, it was then strung out followed by more uncertainty regarding funding, from my eyes it looks very clear, the intention orchestrated last August. Investor obviously make their oun mind up whether to vote yes or no, we have insufficient information right now, hope that changes after recent events. good luck.
Could you say for how long Mr Bell had been a Director of Metro Play before this action was taken against them
Mr Bell, who is reported to be worth around £400m and is a shareholder in several FTSE-listed companies, is said to have interests ranging from payroll and recruitment to development, hospitals and care homes. A source said yesterday that Mr Bell “vigorously denied any wrongdoing” and was a “well respected” member of the business community on the Isle of Man who gave “generously” to local charities. Documents from the Isle of Man Financial Crime Unit, seen by The IoS, lists Mr Bell as an individual who is currently “part of an active criminal investigation”. The note to regulators lists three other individuals and 25 firms as also under investigation.
Has the Stock Exchange the power to take control.
Not saying you wont be proved to be correct in some of what you say and not looking for an argument My only interest is in the truth of the matter. I prefer to err on the side of caution and not go gung ho in one direction till I know all the facts. To my knowledge there is no proof that a major investor is trying to fleece this company and although I am unhappy with the dramatic drop in the share price I am quite willing to accept that this may be mainly down to overtrading. I agree a statement from the BOD would be welcome but if none is forthcoming I will assume that nothing has changed since their last statement and then I will decide whether to vote on the advice of the BOD or the advice of Anonymous posters on bulletin boards. Just my opinion not trying to influence anybody.
Guilty or not the damage has been done, unfortunately his assets could be froze while its sorted imo. From this link http://calvinayre.com/2015/03/25/business/alderney-suspends-metro-play-license-666bet-loses-leyton-orient-sponsorship/the The backlash has begun with sponsorship loss...
I'm thinking on the same lines with most of our money gone.............then we have 666bet backlash... http://calvinayre.com/2015/03/25/business/alderney-suspends-metro-play-license-666bet-loses-leyton-orient-sponsorship/
Could somebody tell me exactly what PAB has been proved guilty of
at last it is in the open!!!!! would it be best to wait for JS to speak tomorrow ,I presume he is in with bell but cannot make a false statement to the market !!! I am thinking at the moment to vote against bell and take a chance after all my holding is worth bugger all and I am willing to loose it to stop bell ripping us all off WE must stand together on this to have any chance
I agree suspension it is a possible, that should have been done months ago, its plain to see why it never happened, not in someones favour, the plan is obvious to me!. Get it low, appear as white knight our savior to steal. The last fall appears to be attributed to the latest news, dates seem to coincide, the problem for PAB is trying to sell shares at today's price, he's lost his bargaining power, unforeseen shot in the foot...... BTW this was my reason for saying hold vote, didn't want to post the links until it was made clear! He was arrested here and on return home according to news links. IMO JS will speak tomorrow.
So the restructuring will cease - but will the shares be suspended too? Can we stand alone? Time for the BOD to stand up and be counted. Perhaps our luck has changed. Surely an RNS of explainarion is due. what happens to CAPITA? All that money being wasted.
I'm afraid so, think most were aware, names had been withheld until news today. At least he isn't in complete control of the company, we remain majority and he remains an investor, like us and the company remains ultrasis.co.uk, hopefully wont effect the contracts providing his money was good. Wont be taking up my share offer and will vote no against some resolutions, try and keep our voting rights, if at all possible. Good luck...
Is this our man?
Resolutions aren't in our favour financially, there's a chance we could get through without the dosh, assuming John Smiths comments are accurate regarding return to profit this year, which could be May to December, nothing specific from him. Lets face facts, the offer is supposed to be our savior, made to look as it is, we would have laughed at a few months ago, shouted from roof tops. On the assumption JS comment is accurate I feel we are being conned to take the company for zilch, a return to profit it cant be bad as painted? Perhaps we should call their bluff, if the company goes in liquidation public sector and NHS contracts will be lost, its in PAB interest to carry on funding being heavily invested and he will NOT want to risk these valuable contracts. Not sure we have much more to lose, most of our money gone down the drain after false delist threat. Vote yes ......... lose all future voting power!
it seems people r waking up to what is going on in many areas,1 total take over share holders no say at all !!! pb see iom police arrest !!! house searched!!!! now companies news!!!! what more do we need ?????
Not happy please try email... aimregulation@londonstockexchange.com
