Expect an rns very soon re turkey/ share buying and hopefully one allowing Loxley plans to go ahead... the rest is just noise
Brainey...NOT .... You have plenty of big issues......your selling them every day
HH1AN2,
yes interesting week coming up, but let's put some 'bones' to your list.
So will an RNS acknowledging the failure to be awarded the 4 blocks applied for by AME to the south of Resan Basur (awarded to TPAO) be issued before any news of Basur-3, and what will that Basur-3 news be? UKOG during the start of drilling Broadford Bridge gave almost weekly updates of progress, and only went quiet when things went wrong.
Will the BoD announce that the directors share purchase scheme will go ahead next Friday, how many more will they get than if they had bought on 2 July - or maybe the SP will rise with all the encouraging news coming and they'll get less?
The Loxley decision isn't likely until the Autumn according to UKOG, summing up by SCC and UKOG not even scheduled until Friday 13th August.
You forgot the OGA figures for April due tomorrow (as long as the OGA site reinstates HH in their Open Data) - let's see if the higher OP is allowing them to produce more oil to pay for the water trucking, are they even breaking even. As the only production UKOG operate (and likely to operate for a long time) it's hardly 'noise'.
Yes, I feel a nice little top-up coming from Ozzy!
The go ahead for Loxley if Ukog wins the appeal will be big news and add significant value to current bargain low sp regardless of how much it might cost.
The fact that Ukog has not updated the market on Basur-3 progress since the 1st July apart from the the twitter Photos 14th July has probably more to do with SS not wanting to be accused of ramping up demand for the open offer just incase the outcome from Basur-3 isn't good, although Oceanmec's Facebook post 21st July celebrating their workforce with a backdrop of Basur-3 well including the logo etc suggested that operations were still in progress.
The fact it would appear that Ukog/Ame haven't been awarded any new explorations licenses could be an indication that they've already got their hands full with existing license...ie Basur-3 is a gusher, news of which Ukog might of wanted held back while the fist week of the Loxley appeal was in progress...we're c35 days drilling at Basur-3 and AME's previous discovery, similar geology took 50 days from spudding to discovery announcement...and so the fact we're still awaiting news is hardly surprising given the circumstances that might be in play. Gla holders...very exciting for those invested with news from Basur-3 expected imminently....confirmation of an oil discovery could be Transformational. ;-)
Basakli-1 Exploration Well was spudded on May 19, 2014 - Confirmation of oil encountered 8th July.....Approx 7 weeks later. Gla ;-)
Goosey if your bored go find another goose......keep your pecker up.old boy....mind you don't end up with egg on your face.....go on have a gander
..you’re
That’s what a Turkey does. not a goose. Geese hiss. Nul points on every point so far. Though I dare say Turkey will gobble what few resources remain to the account of UKOG, what?
Goosey prodder, sorry i forgot to thank you for your investment advice " don't forget you don't lose money until you sell " brilliant !!! still that's an upgrade from "all on 36" ........you also don't lose money if you don't buy any shares....so you're safe....at least with the money situation anyway....old chap
Well you would know, i bet they have hissy fits when you get hold of them, nudge nudge wink wink, say no more
Who said I was referring to the goose?
Mm,
"The fact it would appear that Ukog/Ame haven't been awarded any new explorations licenses could be an indication that they've already got their hands full with existing license...ie Basur-3 is a gusher, news of which Ukog might of wanted held back while the fist week of the Loxley appeal was in progress."
Good grief - so much wrong in so few words.
No, the award of licences is independent of what may or may not be happening on Basur-3.
No, even if the Basur-3 is a gusher, they would not have their hands full by having to complete one just well and bring it onto production. Besides, it would be AME doing the work - UKOG would just have to provide the cash....
No, the technical decision to award the lcience would have been made several weeks ago and taken since then to work it's way through the internal Turkish Govt approval process - i.e. long before any technical information would have been available from Basur-3.
No, UKOG cannot hold back commercial news which may have a material effect (up or down) on the share price - it's against even AIM rules.
MM,
polishing worthy of ocelot, but a better tack would have been the blocks applied for were sooooo good TPAO wanted them - though they didn't when Perenco applied for them 6 years ago after Bukat-1 was drilled. Perenco then lost the blocks last year having failed to fulfil the 5 year obligation work programme. I wonder if TPAO will find any partners ready to pay 100% of any wells to have minimal risk in case of failure.
But it must be a blow to UKOG's ambition for a new focus in SE Turkey.
As for the silence about Basur-3 nobody knows why but it's been nearly 4 weeks since the fund raise was announced and nearly a week since the open offer closed. The (only) update on 1st July was probably more to do with the fund raise (and the not allowed forward selling thereof) than anything else so I doubt it has anything to do with 'SS not wanting to be accused of ramping up demand for the open offer just incase the outcome from Basur-3 isn't good'.
The go ahead for Loxley, whenever it comes, will at some point mean more fund raising for an expensive UK well,, and almost certainly another flurry of hope/belief with posters repeating (for the xtieth time) that small oilers need funds to progress UKOG having raised and spent in excess of about £80mm. Will permission add 'significant value' - more likely brief speculative interest (P&D), but the well won't be until next year at the earliest and is by no means a slam dunk success that some posters suggest.
and of course hopefully tomorrow the OGA HH figures to get excited about.
Yep the good news is coming in thick and fast.....hold on......
Ozzy: top up now while these prices last.. average down.. don’t sell, you’ll have made a loss.
Exactly what I did this morning OofyProsser...Topup, average down etc.... :-)
New data this month and the Turkish team cracking on.
We know they work quickly and have the resource at hand to do it.
Loxley in progress too. Crazy to sell this stock at this price....Thanks though...gave me a good chunk more :-)
I’d sell before it drops further
And it will, a lot further.
Oofy, you’re advising someone to continue financially self harming. . .
The number of times that Trollhunter2 has been forced into claiming that he's "delightedly averaging down" due to UKOG's unbroken series of disasters and non-delivery, he's either buying one share at a time, or he's got more personal funds than the Sultan of Brunei and must own at least a third of the company by now, or he's lying his ass off.
I wonder which of those three options is most likely?
Think TH2 can't read either.
"As the joint venture's new seismic acquisition is scheduled to commence in August 2021, AME have advised that to ensure the sidetrack is optimally located, they plan to pause any drilling until after the acquisition and processing of the new seismic data over the sidetrack's envisaged trajectory."
Plenty of chance to get in cheaper as what news is due soon?
Goosey prodder, too late i took your "knowledgeable" advice and put it on 36....well no i thought that's not good advice, it seems like a one off gamble....so my bet is still running......hissy hissy ..kissy kissy
Oh no, I didn’t think people would take my message addressed to Ozzy seriously. I’ve been wondering why it got 10 likes. Now it seems they’re from the shills and the ramping squad. How very depressing.
