Well, thus far a poor decision. Trading update is OK and pretty much as I had thought, but Mr Market has a blacker outlook than me.
I've dipped a toe in today for my elder son with an investment of £1,200 after top slicing a holding that is unlikely to have much resistance to the headwind of recession. Time will determine the folly or wisdom of this decision.
I'm not sure what has gone down with this share, it's dropped quite quick and after a positive trading update. Is the way Aim shares play out?
Seems a strange way for movement after such a report.
Another pick I'm hoping starts to move north again soon on the sp.
What's anyone else View on this? How do you see the market reacting in the longer term.
Lol. Keep talking!
The last time this bounced from this level (7/3/2022), it went from 857 to 1130 in 4 days. Three weeks later it was bouncing of 1335.
PS. I am aware I may be talking to myself on this BB.
Volume increased, large buys (160K), buys/sells 2:1 and finally the SP starts to rise again. This is a very good impersonation of the start of the bounce.
Is it time for the SP to head back to 1300?
It looks like someone thinks it has hit the bottom. 160k buy
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one, everyday is blood bath with my shares here.
I honestly can't find any reason for these drops, but I'm getting battered day after day.
Everything is taking a bit of beating at present but why is this so down?
I hope your right JamesGB and this finds its way back, I'm still holding as didn't expect a fall after a positive update.
Most of the trades this morning are marked as buys and volumn has decreased.
Does this look like the reversal is about to start?
It looks like this has hit/is about to hit a double bottom. Can we see a 10% - 20% increase in the next week?
Anyone enlighten me on what's been happening with this share over last few days.
Company releases good results in line with expectations and announced divi increase which has increased year on year for at least the last 5yrs and the sp has tumbled!
Today's announcement that they have won an award in this sector and seems no movement at all. Any thoughts?
anyone got thoughts on results here tomorrow?
I've only just ,in the last couple of weeks invested here. It does look like a solid company, I think we need to keep checks on performance and if all is well this should return well.
I have noticed in this short time though, it does the opposite of what most my other shares, on red days for other shares and the ftse, this is blue!!. good days for other shares this is red!!! Have no idea why this is.
Pretty good value now we know they had nearly 60p of historic earnings in 20/21 and it’s a growing those earnings.
The answer to your question is to look forward not backwards.
Buys exceed sells 2 - 1 and SP drops 3.5%.
MM games?
Hi everyone,
I have recently started trying to analyse companies myself. I want to invest in several companies for around 10 years minimum. Focusrite is one which took my eye so I had a look into them. I think this company looks very promising. Good financials, high assets to liabilities, small dividened, in demand product and overall a company which gives investors a lot to like.
However, I have one big problem. The profits after tax last year I believe was around £7 million. For a company valued at almost 1 billion is this not an issue? It seems the shares are valued very high. I understand the company is growing which is why you have to expect a big difference between the market cap and profits, but it seems very high?
Is this normal for stocks like this or is this a good company which is unfortunately overvalued?
Many thanks.

A well managed company with a fair and ethical board IMO. With some regret I took profit in early September to free cash for other investments. Licked my wounds and bought back in today on the surprisngly small dip.

Focusrite says revenue and earnings likely to surpass market expectations - https://bit.ly/2W781Hh
Anyone know why the prices has dropped so much recently? It's lost in a week the gains of the previous 2 months - and down a bit further today. I can't see any recent news to explain the switch in sentiment.
Thanks!!
Results due and expected to be st least in line with expectation. Sat on a ever increasing bundle of cash and anticipation of what they'll do with said cash. It appears a good growth stock with real potential and a great board. Not your usual AIM share really.
