I hope they are right and this rockets back up, but from reading the motley fool article, they are suggesting it's got good potential to climb right up again but wouldn't invest themselves just yet and are watching this space.
Don't know if that's a good thing or not as I believe shares can do the opposite of motley fools recommendations on occasion, but I don't think anyone can predict the future...wait a minute I'll get me crystal ball out...no no I'm right, you can't see the future, its just a crystal. So I HOPE they are correct for all us investors, but base it on your own research and whether you want to own a piece of this company.
It's my 2 pence worth but boohoo is still advertising strongly, sponsoring people and events, trying to grow further, huge investment in usa. Whilst I'm very disappointed where the share price fell down too, it doesn't feel like it should be at these levels.
I still believe our fortunes are tied to the US though, do well there and this will fly up, fail and this will drop back again and hover in the low spots for sometime. I don't think it's bust situation even if this happens, due to strong UK followings and sales, but would be a very slow burn then..
Just my thoughts and I know everyone has their own, but good luck investors. ??
What are peoples current views on this share/trust ?
Most stocks from Jan this year have picked up a little since 22 so, what the heck is happening with these investments the so called experts from here are picking? Are they working hard to not make any increase for investors or is that just what it feels like? Wasn't too long ago it was at 350p a share.
To me at present, it just seems to be floundering doing nothing against a backdrop of small overall increases in the general us markets, my own US watch lists are all up, not massively, but up none the less.
Would love to see this resting around 500p level, not sure it'll get there at the moment, but give it some time, some nice movement over the past month or so. Hopefully this keeps moving forward, even slowly I'd be happy with.
Divis as well, not a bad place to be at present.
Let me say, I hope this keeps going up.
However the whole market is up. I read these comments sometimes ,like a days change either up or down is unique to boo, whilst it can change massively up or down it still seems to me that it goes with general market sentiment of that day at present. Sometimes up, sometimes down.
I'm just happy the markets are all looking up a little since the start of year, it makes me smile.
Hopefully boo powers forward and some big sp hikes when this usa dc is up and running, but with boo who knows. I'm keeping fingers crossed, as mentioned we get predictions, it'll be 400p soon again and the flipside they're going bust 1p soon.
Dyor and if you think it's a good company invest.
I think your in at a reasonable price, my average is over 220 so I'm waiting.
Don't really want to put any more in, looking for long term investments with dividends these days to compound my returns on the investments, not sure this one will ever offer dividends.
I think though you should see a double return on your buy in price as time goes on.
Gla and always dyor ??
Wildtiger,
You must be happy here, I figure you must be 50% up or thereabouts on this share and I think it will slowly keep moving up.
Great timing on this one.
This question is for anyone.
Where do you see the shares resting level once it's worked itself out and China is back moving working where it should be?
Well, it's still pushing into the positive, let's hope China listens to its people and opens up again, we are going the right way with these minor covid relaxation steps.
If it continues I think we will keep rising here!!! Fingers crossed
Well, I did get a few more shares, it hit my buy in price so my average has dropped a little lower.
I'm glad to see a slow increase again, which I am a little surprised about, with china still not really moving forward yet.
I am still of the opinion this share will do very well once the Chinese govt have some clear direction with lockdowns and decide to move forward opening up, getting their economies moving again.
I'll be setting another buy in point lower than previous, just in case it falls back again, but fingers crossed we either maintain or keep slowly climbing.

Just my 2 pence worth
Hi Phyl,
I think it's just us on here these days. ;)
I'm looking at maybe getting some more, but I'm going to try and hold off for a little as I do think it's going to drop further yet unless the news changes in China.
I'm looking towards the lows for the past 12months before I'll invest more, but I also see this rising again when the news changes, who knows when that will be though...could be next week, nxt month or next year.
All this said I'm not going to try and time it, I've just set my buying limit if it hits it, I'm in for more if not I'll wait for another opportunity. Keep the faith and enjoy the divis whilst you wait.
Hey Phyl,
I see that china is taking another lockdown precaution as you stated. I think this will cause the sp to drop a little.
TBH though, the they way this moved when they opened up (straight up), I see this as a steady investment and if it falls low again, I think I'll add some more rather than worry if it was a good buy or not. But this is only my opinion. Gla lth
I've been waiting for this happen, this is honestly what I wanted boohoo to do for sometime, 1.99 as a return fee I think is very reasonable and acceptable to most purchaser's. Just my view!
I would like to think this might address the high rates of returns a little and even if it doesn't, a little cash back in the pot is better than nothing during these turbulent times.
Gla holders as this is a tough share to keep faith in at the moment.
I've been thinking this for a long while that they should be charging for returns, even just a small arbitrary amount like £1-2 each order. At least even if the returns continued at, what I hope is an inflated rate, not a permanent situation, there would be at least some cash return, not just expenditure.
I would think most people wouldn't mind a £1 deduction out of their return. I've purchased from here had to send items back as wrong size etc.
Its only my opinion but I wouldn't object to paying a small amount for return. SMALL being the operative word though. It would be no good buying value clothing for small amounts and being charged a third or more of the value to return, as this would put people off.
I'm hoping for some balance here soon, I think this stock went a little to high to fast and due to China having its zero covid policy and locking the country down completely again for an extended time, its fallen quite a way back down now. Both sides to me, a little too far either way.
But, this presents an opportunity now as I think it will grow slowly as china begins to open back up and it's economic side starts moving again.
I will still think in 10yrs time these investments will be multiples of where we are now, hopefully much sooner.
If dividends stay, why would you not invest here.

I'm going to withhold judgement also on this alleged potential purchase of Misguided.
If its purchased for the right price I can see it adding a little to the stable. I also think it could possibly run side by side in U.S. however
Some basic looking would seem that U.S customers not that happy with Misguided.
From reading some of the reviews most seem to steam from slow shipping, increase costs of shipping and costs to return items to items not arriving at all.
Overview
Missguided US has a consumer rating of 1.72 stars from 413 reviews indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Consumers complaining about Missguided US most frequently mention customer service, tracking number and business days problems.Missguided US ranks 471st among Discount Shopping sites.

I know that the coca cola it's self is under ticker KO in usa. I also keep on eye here as well.
In the words of a bon jovi song....keep the faith. Gla
I'm not sure what has gone down with this share, it's dropped quite quick and after a positive trading update. Is the way Aim shares play out?
Seems a strange way for movement after such a report.
Another pick I'm hoping starts to move north again soon on the sp.
What's anyone else View on this? How do you see the market reacting in the longer term.
I'll take it, glad I put some in here, hopefully the divi stays regardless of the war situation and the pulling out of Russia by cch.
Coca cola still one of the Oracle of Omaha's staple stocks since the 80s so if its good enough for him it's good enough for me.
