I've just clicked on "see all comments " for that D M article for a very revealing portrait of their readers opinions....
My flabber has never been so gasted.
Truly awful.
Just get 600 machines out there then , on every turnstile at old trafford , and they will have a full stadium in 2 hrs
BRH likely to trump this mob very soon and seems such better value at current sp
Just need an order now
Heathrow alone have 80 Million travellers a year
Just got in these been given to nod big orders incoming
Has anyone seen any fag packet figures regarding price/ profit per unit, cartridges etc?
Thanks for the reply Trek. In the Heathrow scenario where 200,000 passengers per day need to be tested, it would presumably work well in combination with a vaccine passport. No passport - join that queue and be tested on the spot. Did they reveal any pricing details?
I suspect it’s the old FT article,. Before they got validation, check the date.
To be fair iAbra boasted too early. That’s now behind us. We have clearance.
Just need an order now from Carnival for 1000 units! It’ll come! Lol!
Usual caveats,
Trek
Old news from back in September when FT launched what at the time seemed to me to be more like a personally vindictive attack than professional journalism. Possibly fuelled by their lack of experience dealling with media. All credit to iAbra for proving them wrong and getting it approved.
I emailed the company about that a while ago. They didn’t reply. I can only assume you change the cartridge like a printer. It doesn’t mean bin the machine. Or we tell folk they need to buy two! Wheel one in and one out!
More news....Buyers will be here soon fill yer boots!

The only thing stopping me buying more shares in this (I already have 4000), is the line on the Virolens marketing page that reads: 'capable of providing hundreds of tests per day.' Hundreds is not really mass testing enough is it. Does anyone have any views on this?
Due to MHRA approval, contracts could land anytime, if so the share price could rise more than double depending on the contract value
LONDON, March 26 (Reuters) - Britain's medicine regulator
has approved a 20-second COVID-19 test, the product's
distributor said on Friday as it launched a testing system it
said could be used in airports, sports venues and businesses.
Rapid tests are seen as a key plank of Prime Minister Boris
Johnson's roadmap out of lockdown, but concerns have been
expressed about the accuracy of existing lateral flow devices.
The Virolens test, which is made by British start-up iAbra
and TT Electronics, has been trialled at Heathrow Airport, and
uses swabs of saliva.
Histate, which is distributing the test, said it would
launch with immediate effect following the approval in the UK by
the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA),
and was hoping for a further rollout in coming months.
Histate said trials had indicated the test had 98.1%
sensitivity, meaning it returns few false negatives, and 99.7%
specificity, meaning few false positives.
