heya, I think we're all waiting for Sensium to hit the bigtime. In the meantime their DAB chip business is growing rapidly as more and more countries roll out their DAB plans. We also have a very interesting hookup with Google's next chromecast product, set for launch this Qtr (all being well). This alone should help TMZ's revenue and the share should hopefully pick up. As mentioned by TMZ, they're past their phase of exceptional R&D costs and should see positive cash flow this year. This all remains to be seen , but I'm hoping we have some positive announcements in the near future. This is a really interesting company with some fantastic IP's, almost ARM like with their DAB chip being very popular. I just hope it can one day mirrors ARM's performance. or even just a fraction of. GL to you if you're back in here!
Very positive piece about monitoring Vital signs. Could it be Toumaz? Sounds highly likely to me. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-35660333
The purchase of 77m shares by CEO personally of The Surgical Company is encouraging. With the other shares he hold that is an investment of £2m+.
sorry, i posted the same link twice. The Phillips mobile caregiver video is here: http://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/product/HCNOCTN197/intellivue-mobile-caregiver-mobile-app-for-patient-monitoring-data . It's pretty much the same functions as sensium, and then some. Maybe this software platform and our Sensium patch are coming together in time?
Hi Jules think there is a story behind this... 19 Feb - Imagination sell 19 Feb - LVS buys (transaction date on RNS) 22 Feb - Philips Announcement ....join the dots....but your guess is as good as mine
I can only find this about Philips wireless patient monitoring. It doesn’t look like it’s as connected as the sensium product regarding remote monitoring : http://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/product/HCNOCTN62/intellivue-cableless-patient-monitoring. Saying that, they do have many “Intellivue” bedside units that could transmit EMR to their Mobile caregiver app. There’s a video here: http://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/product/HCNOCTN62/intellivue-cableless-patient-monitoring There’s not much detail given in the Philips news piece, but I have some questions if anyone wants’ to have a go at them? Would Philips be using / licensing our tech? If not, then don’t we have patents on wearable bio monitoring tech? There’s been no JV or IP purchase RNS from Toumaz or Philips so wouldn’t a huge big deal like this need to be RNS’d if it were so? Why would Imagination sell out on the cusp of something so big? Surely, being a large shareholder and having a working relationship with Toumaz they’d be aware of any upcoming prospects? Seems a bit dumb of them to sell out for c3M, a relatively small figure. Unless the needed the money? Then this DR Schil guy, why would he buy into Toumaz if he knew Philips was going big into the same sphere? With all his connections and him being in Amsterdam I would have thought he’d be privy to the machinations at Philips? I can’t quite make out why Imagination would sell out and Schil buy, unless it’s all part of some big deal to get Sensium into the market as Philips have the clout to push the tech far more than Img / tmz ever could?
Toumaz already supply Philips with chips for their wireless speakers so why not for their wearable sensors.
I'd say we're screwed if this isn't toumaz tech? http://www.newscenter.philips.com/us_en/standard/news/press/2016/20160222-Philips-to-introduce-next-generation-monitoring-solution-enabled-by-wearable-biosensors.wpd#.VtFuWJyLSUm
The Surgical Company and Philips Healthcare both have their HO in Amsterdam. Just saying!
Dr Schil and his connections might be lucrative for us? Their hemologic isn't a too different from ours, albeit a bit more ECG focused. http://www.hemologic.com/the-concept . Drs. Luc Van Schil - CEO of The Surgical Company Group, INSEAD MBA graduate, has a background in business consulting with McKinsey, and became an entrepreneur for surgical specialties, founding the Surgical Company in 1993 which has grown in a Group holding of 7 companies with a cumulative revenue of 80 million Euro in 2014. Mr. van Schil has a long experience with merger and acquisitions, medical distribution, and development of proprietary medical products manufactured either in house or through outsourcing, which are then distributed either directly by the other surgical company group companies or through distributors.
is CEO of company at link below. http://www.surgcomp.com/about-the-surgical-company/
Changes in share ownership can sometimes 'upset the apple cart' but its always best to gauge what is happening on the ground. Toumaz has been slow to grow share value but with a research based period this is normally the case. I believe that we are turning the corner this year and revenues will grow. I appreciate frustration at the slow decline in the share price but in this game...tell me about it. You either hold on or bail out. I have topped up and plan to hold on, luckily I don't need access to the money so I may be lucky but Toumaz is moving in the right direction.
6 years....is that all.....you're a newby !
mid-2016, our once glorious 7p.....
...some beaten up victim with Stockholm syndrome. hey toumaz, where's my placing offer at 1.8 huh? Be nice to be included on this sometime? what's that? holding this crap for over six years not enough eh? Shut up and get back in your box, right? Blooming used and abused.
and wait for nhs contract, still dreaming that after 3 years....
from chartists point of view not so bad, fill 2 gaps on the way up....
Definitely Imagination Tech that has sold. On TMZ website they held 175,323,698.. we had the 175m million sold @ 1.8p this am and the balance 323696 has just gone through at same price. Be interesting to see who picked up this 10% of TMZ
Almost certainly Imagination. Sir H Yasssaie resigned, or was pushed out, as CEO of IMG and he resigned as director of TMZ. I believe he was fan of TMZ and presumably new management tidying up or want cash. I hear Sensium patch is well received at QE and St James Hospital and Digital Audio going well.
Speculation on Advfn that it's Imagination Tech offloading ~ they held just over 175m
All but 1x 175m @ 1.8p have been reversed
First 335M sold in various deals and now 160M reversed. That's 10% of the shares in issue. Who owns that much, and why did the share price not react more ?
Yeah -21%, sp down to 2.25-2.5.... 335m sells @ 1.8p. Could it be a placing on the way and these shares have been forward sold? Would like an explanation asap!
330m? sell? RNS please?
