Hi vickythelad, Wish you all the best of luck in your new investment. I'm going to give Toumaz another 1-2 years and then see where we are, The main things that keeps me interested in them is the quality of the Board members and the companies that they might end up dealing with. Wishing you all the best, GLA
Hi Breton59, Thank you for the post. I did think what you are saying might be the case - but I would have at least expected a response saying that they thanked me for my interest and that they could not comment until the next RNS, or something similar. It's the lack of any response that has left me somewhat bemused. GLA
I'm not an expert at this but when I've attended question and answer sessions with Vice Presidents and Directors they would be adamant if a 'City' announcement was pending that they would not comment or respond even to press reports on performance.t . Although you have asked 'non sensitive' price questions its all interpretation. Could be good news pending?>
Has anyone on this board tried to use the Toumaz Contact facility on their website? In the past when I've used it they've been very good at getting back to me. Over the space of a month I've sent three messages and not have anyone reply to any of them. None of them have been re price sensitive questions. Has anyone had a reply from them recently. It's a bit of a catch 22 really as I cannot contact them to ask why they haven't replied to my contact form questions! GLA
Many thanks for the post. Not sure about the big gap and price target but Toumaz do appear to still be getting great reviews for the products their hardware is in and are selling into growing markets. Also we have the Sensium Vitals report soon(before the middle of the year whenever that is??!!) and they seem to be picking up in terms of shares bought and the price has gone up at the end of last week having drifted down for a while, so maybe we've turned a corner? GLA
Again good buys today - this time in the afternoon - not far off half a million today. Lets' hope we get some good news soon. GLA
Some quite decent buys going through this morning - not far off a million shares traded. It looks like some buyers are seeing the share as being of interest at these prices. Let's hope for news soon. I've contacted Toumaz asking if we might hear something in the next month but as of yet no reply. GLA
I have topped up in Toumaz seven times now since 2013 and have the confidence that the company is on the right track, but, the two main issues is the debt which is currently manageable and any 'Contract for Sensium' needs to be large or with ongoing potential. Any small contract will just eat away at revenue.. I worked on projects, some big , some small. The smallest was Concord. Manufacturing one set of spares a month was a great deal of effort and expense for scant return. However the project was...so important that flying six planes only out of the UK was a must to keep going .As investors we need a viable Health Division or call it a day before it eats even more cash.
I wonder when the "middle of the year report" that the independent third party looking into Sensium will be published. I did think, some time ago that they would have ample time to consider the results of the two trials currently underway but as of yet there has been no signs of published results. What with the adoption of tech gadgets to assist the measurement of early signs apparently starting to happen next year and no published results this year any report now would seem to fall into no mans land. Having said that if this company, whoever they are have had all this time to look in depth at the possibilities for Sensium I hope they can see a fruitful way forward can be found - especially since so much development work has been done and money put into it's R and D. GLA
Hmmm ... Makes you wonder how tight the company is with regards to news as an RNS is expected any day now.
Quite a nice large buy just gone through 900000 shares! Someone must have some confidence in the company.
Sensium strategic review should be reported anytime in next few weeks. They either cut their losses and stream line the dab and connected audio, or they see a future for sensium as the review sees ROI. Personally I would look at using the IP to support hardware platforms for fitbit and cloudtag. Them guys sell product, toumaz essentially design silicon.
Yes it would be good if some of Thomas's vital signs were improving. Just cannot see how they can get the trial findings available - the hospital's involved seem to be taking an age and Toumaz are only very vague about it in there pronouncements. I will give it another year but I'm expecting improvement in the patient and more news flow! GLA
I think I said that about 5 years ago! Let's have a great update please toumaz.
Another year don't think I could take it . Lol
A very interesting link to an article in the Telegraph was posted on iii recently. The link is http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/06/17/millions-of-patients-to-get-access-to-life-saving-gadgets-under/ Maybe Toumaz's time will come it we can hold out to next year - it sounds like the main push for these devices is due to start next year - a very interesting read. GLA
Thanks for the info. I have added this to my 'watch list' . I'm listing a few cyber 'defence' company's as this is a growth industry but its outside my comfort zone so , I'm having to research carefully. Also, a friend of mine went to the NEC recently to a 'drone' marketing event. He was asked to go as a marketing guy with knowledge of these events. He was so impressed he agreed to go to Farnborough this year to arrange the marketing of Drones. I can't afford or respond to all the options but definitely one for the future. My friend as even come out of early retirement to get involved....me? happy to have toast and coffee and a quiet life.
Breton hope your right I have a holding in a company called Sirius minerals .sxx now this a company that is going places if you have any spare cash do a little research on it . We are awaiting on finance news to build this mine news is coming soon very soon . Gla
Bought my first tranche of shares on 9/4/2013 plus six top ups. I'm still only a small shareholder but I have bought and sold until I'm content to build around the firms I have now. I plan to offload Premier Foods as soon as its financially sound to do so and Trafalgar New Homes, but the rest I will hold . If I buy into any new company shares it might be Equatorial Palm Olive, not yet 'sold' on them, but the first re planting was in 2011 and this company is taking the right steps to keep locals onside. As for Toumaz, the debt is still manageable and if the future of the Health side is determined soon this company can and will start increasing revenue.
Found this article that was actually published a little over a year ago and relates to a small trial of the Sensiumvitals patch. http://bmjopen.bmj.com/content/5/5/e006606.full It's very interesting and the conclusion towards the end of the article reads :- Wireless technologies for measurement of vital signs, such as the one used in this study, have now developed to the point where they have the potential to make a substantial contribution to patient safety. Evaluation of end-to-end system performance within the hospital environment will provide further information on the clinical value and acceptance of the wireless monitoring system in routine practice as part of a wider system to augment and support existing clinical protocols and workflows. The key phrase I homed in on was substantial contribution to patient safety - I'm assuming the current trails are carrying out the routine practice as a part of a wider system..... Hope we get new soon. It also made me wonder if the announcement of the future of the Sensiumvitals product within Toumaz is reliant on the trials finishing first. I would expect so - as otherwise I suppose you can argue their(group carrying out the study as to the future of Sensiumvitals) findings are not fully informed. Anyway hopefully not too long to wait now...
You're a brave person Breton you must have faith in this company how long have you held for.
Bought more shares yesterday only for it to show as a sell?. Have read about this before but it is really odd.
LOL. Probably. It'll still only "be on trial" though.
Bye the time sv gets off the ground sethill Will be 80 on a hospital ward with a patch on his chest.
Ab, the sv review will out soon. I would say before the end of June, but definitely in a months time. What I find crazy is that the world is mad for fitbit and ctag etc. yet sensium which does the same but in different setting has much less interest ... Regardless, DAB and connected audio is where the steady cash will come from
