Perhaps there is a bid coming
... to a mid-price of just over 100p.
I ain't complaining, but couldn't see ( via google ), any particular reason for it, no broker upgrades, no tips from anyone really worth reading since Mr Naked Trader, pretty much nada really. I'm struggling to believe that a tip from Motley Fool has that sort of impact ?
tbh - I generally don't file their stuff under Motley, which just leaves Fool.
Has anyone seen anything that I've missed, or is the consensus that we've been marked up because of a mention on MF ?
BB
OMG !!! First time my prediction has come true on the day!!
tipped in MotleyFool yesterday
https://www.fool.co.uk/investing/2020/02/12/my-2-favourite-low-p-e-shares-with-big-earnings-potential/
I think if we had another 10 buys today it may go above 100p !
Good couple of days, decent value returning.
More to come?
whats up?
Bought some shares. Like the balance sheet - the PEG has been historically low. Lots of growth potential here.
First is The Mission Group (TMG). A totally overlooked (a bit like
Kape was) marketing company which is right at the bottom of the
market cap range I am happy to deal in.
It kind of most of the time sits around not doing much, it hasn't got any
mates in the market and probably sits around most of the day
on its phone looking at silly videos.
But.. its fundamentals look pretty decent and its rating is low which
leaves plenty of potential upside when it is discovered. It's one of
those that you're in and you think "is it ever going to bloody move" then
the day after you sell it from boredom there's a bid!
Its share price is on the rise this week after a decent trading update. It
expects to be debt free by year end, and reading between the lines
election uncertainty wasn't great for business but now things are
on the move again. If that's right the next update could see some
major upside.
I like the words “ the alternative group for ambitious brands”! It would be good if data could be produced to demonstrate how TMG marketing has impacted on particular businesses.
For such good news, the message was very brief, and lacking in any thesaurus search words!
However, the prospect of being debt free is incredibly pleasing for a holder who came on board when debt was an issue.
Well done all at The Mission.
Good results again. Debt free/Cash positive in 2020! What are they going to do with that Cash going forward? Higher Dividends,Acquisitions etc.
One to hold for a few years.
The car crash as SAA won't have helped sentiment in the sector.
Your supposition proved to be correct. Hopefully the sp will now be restored to a more sane level.
New branch opened in Leeds
Won't be surprised to see an EBT announcement that TMG have bought shares ! That 100K buy looks dubious.
Just reinvested my divis. Amazing swing of the sp, I suspect that the same folks who were uber bullish a while back are creating the volatility that is so out of character on this share. Politics certainly affects prospects, a decisive outcome in one direction would surely create big growth opportunities IMVHO
watching.. but i cant see the reason for the drop today .. any ideas?
This is a great company with plenty going for it.
Anyone else following?
Is SP going up before ex-div date or imminent announcement of new contract as mentioned in IC article?
By the looks of this chat board, the ticker code TMG was previously used by another company, therefore the chat below this post is now obsolete. I hope others who have followed The Mission Group under the old ticker of TMMG will find their way over to this board. My bad for not saying this sooner. For anyone looking in, well worth looking back at RNS's for the old ticker to appreciate what this company is all about. It has been my top performing share for a long time now.
Interestingly, I sold over 6000 shares and it showed up as a suspected buy!!!
Just sold, and the spread buy to sell still makes this one to be cautious. Why such a strong buy message, have read the two announcements posted today re CGA etc, do you really think this will go anywhere above where it is hovering now??
x3 interesting stuff )
TMG - Tula I know nothing of this company, so I can't comment about any long term potential to these shares. However, although these shares are 'worth' 11.5p each (the mid price), they would cost you 15p each to buy, and you would only get 8p per share if you sold. So, 364 x £0.08 = £29.12. Once you take off a brokers fee (£7 at Hoodless Brennan, more else where) you'll be left with about £20. Why not go crazy and leave it there - the firm might suddenly do really well!
