Name the angry manager or you lie, simple as that.
You say a lot of stock is obsolete and decaying in the car park, really, well no reports of that have been forthcoming from holders visiting the site, a little quiet yes. Also does that apply to the states as well, if so how do you know? TC be careful, I think the whole group could be shifted to the states in the end, if the SEVUS deal goes ahead then the base will be the US, and Snorkel the now one brand is also based in the US, therefore all US based! Think about it? it does make sense.
Hey,Corrector, Is this your job the're advertising.http://www.smithelectricvehicles.com/careers_currentvacancies.asp
OH I Forgot to mention TC a lot and i mean a lot of stock is obsolete or decaying in the car park.
If anything happens the directors cant loose out either way they have covered all bases. Simple as that. M T the days are long gone when people work at 16.57 at Tanfield barely enough work for 07.30 on a monday never mind friday. Only a handfull of people will know what is happening with snorkel in the states and that handfull spend an awfull lot of their time there. However we cant get parts from the States part of the division so try and work that out we cant!
TC I assume you are an employee, in that case why are you posting messages at 16.57 on message boards shouldn't you be at work. Asf or stock levels, according to Tanfield they had 39m in June, that is a lot of stock they have gone through? Where is it ? One final point, do you know what the situation is in the states, with Snorkel inc, part of the group, perhaps they have all of the stock!
...why have the directors not only underwritten 10m shares in the company, but also a further 2.6 million shares at a higher price, if things were as bad as you say?! They won't have done it for no reason.
Directors on the shopfloor looking at shelf stock over the last couple of days also very little being produced, lots of machines littered around waiting for parts that drip in now and again. The dinosaur is upsetting the wrong people and rumours are that a key member of the management team is about to join up with his old workmate who recently jumped ship from Upright/Snorkel..... We are all mystified as to how this fella gets away with his childish tantrums as often as he does, he is supposed to be one of the heads of production! Never mind he at least provides us with some form of amusement everybody loves a clown. The stock levells are being allowed to drop alarmingly and if any big orders did come in we couldnt produce them as we have no stock, the supply chain has been ripped apart and every supplier has to practically beg for payment we are on stop with just about everybody!!!! Be very lucky if we see any redundancy money here.
Buy yours at 80p did you my rampy little amigo? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
...a little tetchy this morning?!
Have had two phonecalls now from American sounding gent who asks me if I am interested in selling my Tanfield shares. I refused to answer and asked at what sort of price, he said £9 - £17 pershare!!! We all know about offers too good to be true. I said send me something in writing, presumably he could get my address from the share register? He said he would but nothing arrived yet. Has anyone else had this?
...westsider - not attention to me, just my question. I see no direct answer from you!
What surprises me is that I thought during a time of sellout, takeovers etc. directors weren't allowed to buy shares due to their inside knowledge.
'They will know what's going on behind the scenes. I certainly don't. Why would they do that?'... ...not too many replies to an obvious question! Why would directors buy more shares than was required of them?!
I used to frequent the Hofbrauhous in Munich where I would drink unknown numbers of steins of lager. Although I could never get the words out at the time, I often wondered how the pretty, amply breasted waitresses managed to keep their bosoms dry whilst carrying all those frothy beers around!
...were purchased by the directors at 13.2p, 13.7p, 12.76p, 12.72p and 15.75p totalling 2,658,301 shares over and above their underwriting commitment of 10m at 10p. They will know what's going on behind the scenes. I certainly don't. Why would they do that?

I didnt get any, i bought in at 11.5p and sold at 16p. that IMO was the edjucated thing to do given how eratic TAN is.
Mind you look at the charts, you could be right http://shares.telegraph.co.uk/charts/?epic=TAN&period=DAY4&type=2&compareTo=&submit=Draw
Dont think they will go back that much, you should have kept your 10p shares and sold them at 20p!!
Get yourself back to 11p so i can buy some more.
Randy Stanley!!! Lol!
Wonder if she got her 10p share's???
At Stanleys bit on the side!
