Interesting article from Australia; Ring any bells?

So as of now it’s impossible to sell shares we just have to wait??
Theoretically Yes, but I think the decision to actually pay 5.50 p has yet to be formally ratified by vote?
Others more than well up on my thoughts may well argue otherwise, in other words I am of the opinion AAL still have an option to pay less, or pull out and await administration despite the vote to agree to a takeover.
If I am wrong please advise.
If I hold shares ... will they just be bought for 5.5p without my say so while I’m traveling???
I was directed toward EUA which is currently suspended awaiting a possible sale. So no chance of getting in to that at the moment. The other was GGP which IMO is a possible climber. DYOR
Sold out a little while back. Big loss ...average 17p......been in since that planning committee !
Hoping to recover something if the markets turn round, maybe a couple months in the Doldrums though.
Not finding any obvious winners out there, none that I can approach with confidence anyway. What you all turning your blind optimism to next ? ;)
HUR. Ignore the numbers, they are so far out of date as to be useless. There is a reason why the sp has spectacularly collapsed and the oil price is a tiny part of it. The technical issues alone may be insurmountable and then there is the debt.
Agreed WD, AAL will be one pound by Christmas....
Let It Go
by Idina Menzel
The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation
And it looks like I'm the queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I've tried
Don't let them in, don't let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know
Well, now they know
Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don't care what they're going to say
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway
Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
Let it go (go, go, go go, go go, go go, go, go, go go)
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
It's funny how some distance makes…
Business Minister Kelly Tolhurst's reply to ShareSoc's letter to The Sectretary of State about Shareholder Rights and Sirius can be read here https://www.sharesoc.org/blog/nominee-accounts/shareholder-rights-response-from-kelly-tolhurst-beis-minister/ It is a fairly standard stuff sort of reply.

Yes tories , don’t you just love the f*ckers.....not. They will get their return in taxes without any outlay. Once brexit is done and dusted hopefully the feckers who put them in will kick the feckers out. I wouldn’t be surprised if the vote was rigged.
What with ramifications and exsanguination, PAAA. Would be loving this.
Bone pointed...
JockJoy,
i've had a quick look at HUR and i don't like the look of it, i used to be in XEL and that went bust, £1.30 ish and then down to zero, time will tell, but good luck if it does well, but not for me.
The ramifications of this will be felt worldwide. I feel for anyone who gets laid off by this.
I am mulling over a new investment in the O+G sector once my 5.5p pittance arrives. Hurricane Energy is an interesting play. Their annual results are out tomorrow, and they are holding a CMD next week, so no moves until I digest all that.
But please DYOR, as I clearly have been guilty of recent “flaws” in my investment strategy.
Yes, happy to see the continued exsanguination of the markets until we can buy more for our paltry payments. I want my @*!# >ng money back. After that AAL can bleed out for me.
i see the old board is getting back to normal, nice change to a different subject, life goes on.
Haha Compared to Labours strategy of spend spend spend & don,t worry about managing the economy because they know after 5 years there Out & its the conservatives problem then.
I am not saying anything about Labour. I am saying that the Conservatives have often mismanaged the economy and will do so again. In Teddy Teeth's time, he brought in the Threshold Agreement that encouraged high inflation, up to 27% from memory so don't think the Conservatives know anything at all about prudence. Just look at the mess they have made in the last couple of weeks and much more to come. Someone will have to pay and it won't be them.
Your having a laugh ,, tories mis manage ,,
What would labour do ???
I would have to say that I don't trust the Tories with the purse strings. So often their mismanagement of the economy has been the cause of recession. This will be just another long term, let's kick the ball down the park, mess for someone else to clear up.
Rushed the sale through at lightening speed let’s hope they rush our pittance through as fast for my shares so I can go bargain hunting
Extraordinary turn of events. If it were the punchline in a work of fiction, people would dismiss it as too far-fetched.
If only the takeover had been voted down....I now feel let down not just by Sirius management, but by the shareholders who bottled it and lost us the "no" vote.
